I never used cheat days in the past. I liked to stay very routine. I decided to add Sunday as a cheat day in a cutting cycle. I am just simply adding more complex carbs.

I am meso endo and carb sensitive. I am not sure if I am sold on them yet.

Does anyone eat monsterous cheats? I know a pro who eats anything and everything for one day, fast food, pizza whatever. If I did that I would easily put on 10lbs that day. I assume this is because he is natural ecto.

What are your thoughts on cheat days? Beneficial? I suppose they serve a good mental reset for those who have a hard time dieting for so long. Gives them a chance to relax for a day.

Thanks.

When i did my show i would have a piece of pizze and one scoop of ice cream.I'm a eco,and i still couldn't have them huge cheap meal, well i did try and it was hard to lose the weight, just a little is fine. You know i talked with many Pro's and most of them said that they would only have a small amount of food when they would cheat.I think you will just have to try different ways to see how you will do on the cheat days.

I would say for you to try a Keto diet and use one day a week for a cheat day to refeed then get back into ketosis. Look up a Dave Palumbo type diet, might work well for you if you are so carb sensative.

Personally for me, i dont see the point in cheating,, but i do have some extra high carb days here and there, but them again i aint on no cutting diet plan as of the moment so i dont get cravings

You need a cheat day if your dieting. When you are dieting you restrict your calorie intake, when this is done a lot of times your body realizes that there isn't enough calories being consumed. So at this point what happens is you go into starvation mode and your body holds onto every each calorie that you consume for as long as it can. So it becomes harder for you to burn off fat (calories) when you add a cheat day at the end of the week it shocks your body and speeds up your metabolism which in return uses excess fat for energy.

Just remember there are a lot of factors that come into play when dieting. What body type you are, age, type of diet, cardio sessions, supplements etc....

im dieting for a show right now and have added cheatday every sunday. i prob gain 10 lbs that day but lose it all by tues. so far bf is dropping steadily, will continue with cheats as long as i can. maybe drop 2 or 3 weeks out. i feel they rev your metabolism back up for the week, you burn more fat lose less muscle, ill let you know final verdict on cheat days in about 8 weeks . so far i have to say, you can definitely lean up with 1 day cheats/ week. but you have to be super strict through the week. ido 100 grams of carbs all week, then sun eat face off all day
