The implants/pellets are legal in the US but Im not finding any sources in Canada so I thought i'd ask here about customs and the law. Are there any issues in having these sent across the border? :flagC

They might get seized... But ask Fergie about making them up. You will want to shoot yourself after making it.

Had no issues getting Syno and Fina through from the US. Going to be ordering some more Fina in the next while to make some more up.

As far as using my homebrew, it's been great. Smooth as silk, no pain, and good quality.

If you're looking for a good US source, just order from Allivet:
Fina (http://www.allivet.com/Finaplix-h-p/25232.htm)
Syno (http://www.allivet.com/SYNOVEX-H-p/25004.htm)

I always thought there was estrogen in these pellets to remove. I may just try this in the future in a bottle with some formestane. I believe it can be done, will have to check and see.

To many secrets in the open Matt :)

There's nothing wrong with making a steroid for use in my puppy. :) He just had his balls removed and needs the therapy, after all, it's not like he can make much test on his own now.

He's already aggressive enough, I think it's from the backlash of having too much estrogen on board and not enough test. But, we'll see.

Too bad I don't have a really recent pic of him, that was from my first night with my little buddy.

There is. You need an estrogen solvent that won't destroy the prop-ester bond. So far, I'm not aware of a good solvent and the methods described seem a bit imprecise for my liking. Another method is recrystallization. A quick search will get you what you're looking for.

Found it! On MD there is a description how to do it. Well this sure makes test alot more affordable.

It's the 2 base pair mutation resulting in truncated myostatin mRNA making a form of inactive myostatin in this breed of whippet. The homozygous deletion resulted in the odd body shape. Temperments remained the same except the were obviously not as fast as their unaffected cousins.

My partner used to order from US all the time, then after a while, orders started getting seized. He loved pellets and was dosed at 50mg.

Not a mod...
just concerned that with the few places left right now for supplies that it is completely counterproductive to name sources on a board.
But thanks for your comment... ;)

In the store I pick a kit (red/white/beer -4,6,8 week) they prepare everything in a bucket. I then add the yeast and that's it for now. Come back in 4,6,8 weeks to bottle it myself. All you really do is add the yeast and bottle it. They do everything else. Cost is around $4/bottle (cheap 4 week kit) to $6.50 (for a top 8 week kit). Have not done beer.

it's so sweet not having to pay Mcguinty his "sin" taxes at the lcbo.

Ya...seems like you don't have to do too much. Would they not just have some bottles for sale then that is pre-made to buy for a little extra $$?

so is the taste...more sweet or depends on the batch you make?

To sell pre-made would be illegal bro. The taste again depends on which wine you want and the price of the kit. The 4 week one I did is nice, not sweet, and tastes homemade but not at all in a bad way. The wines you make are not as complex as what you'd buy @LCBO but just (if not more) enjoyable.
