Well ufc 70's down,now for UFC 71.
It's all about Rampage and Liddell on May 26 man i'm pumped,i'm going with Rampage,i like Liddell as well.But i won't be sad like the St.Pierre loss.

I have to agree. Up until the last year they would do a PPV every 3 months or so, now they have one every month plus the Spike nights. This may have something to do with it, too many events and not enough marquee fighters??
Hopefull that changes now that they have bought out a few of their competitors.

Im not totally sold that the buying of Pride will be good for the fans though. i think having healthy competition in any business only brings out the best in the product. It will be fun to watch short term but may grow stale long term. I'm allways happy to see upstarts like the IFl, Strikeforce and other shows do well in North America, it keeps the UFC on their toes.

Very true, they have enough talent, or if not talent, at least decent names from all the TUF reality shows that they should be able to put some decent cards together. But they know alot of people will pay $40 to see liddell no matter who else is fighting.

ice looked like shit. big belly, saggy waist. like he just stepped out of his trailer. nothing against him but he really seemed to be becoming complacent. when rampage threw his hands up like wtf? are we gonna fight or what? i knew 'ol chucky was gonna have to work for it.
the expression on chuckles face when he was trying to get up.....looked like he just took a huge hoot of ice off the pipe, he was a goner.

well chuck is a counter puncher, he's not generally attacking in the typical sense. Rampage calling him out like that may have taken chuck out of his game somewhat.

I think chuck got knocked out as his hands went flat out on the ground, then when jackson hit him again it seemed to rouse him back up, to the point that he didn't even realize he was out. I agree totally with ya big stink his eyes were glazed over, he was a gonner.

Watched the card again today, it was really good. Karo is fun to watch.

exactly. and it was nice to finally see someone capitalize on it. why people have chased him so much in the past, i dunno? stupid.

i like chuck, he's a great fighter and fun to watch, but i don't think he is as good as he thinks he is and i am disappointed in how out of shape he was.

all bets are gonna be buggered anyhow if Hendo does come in. UFC really does have the potential to be something monumental.....lets see if they can get it together.

i have to add that i always feel like such an arm chair QB when i comment on fights, lol, hats off to all these guys for putting it on the line and entertaining us.
