so i've been looking for a new protein and it seems like this is a pretty good one, low on sodium and cholesterol which is perfect for me,

what do you guys think of this protein ???

I usually buy ON whey, but the store was out so I bought Dymatize chocolate. IMO its too sweet and doesn't dissolve well.

I use dymatize elite exclusively and it mixes better and the chocolate tastes better than any of the others I've tried. I really CAN'T relate to what Tarnow is talking about when he says it doesn't mix properly. Maybe he is putting the powder in the container first or something.. Milk goes in first. Shakes up in 20 seconds with no residue whatsoever for me.

Best I've found.

...and the powder is bone dry, not damp like that musclemilk garbage.

p.s.
I use the standard elite whey so I can't speak for the time release version.

I put it in a water bottle with water and shake it. It leaves weird crystals on the sides and tastes gritty. This doesn't happen with ON. It's not that big of a deal, but enough for me to buy ON instead.

I've burned through two tubs of Dymatize 12-Hour (or whatever it's called) since the spring. It's got a great texture, a bit different from any other protein I've tried. It's not chalky, but it has some substance to it. Probably my favourite protein at the moment. I've tried the vanilla and the blueberry. Surprisingly, the blueberry taste disn't wear thin on me. I find that I tend to get tired of most flavours other than vanilla or chocolate by the time I'm done with the tub.

It mixes really well in water, the vanilla has a nice creamy taste. I will try their whey some day, see how it stacks up.

ON is my current favourite whey. It's reliably good. I'm working on a tub of Rocky Road... it was really nice at first, but one tub is probably enough for now.

I mix a lot of stuff in with my main shakes, so I always keep some vanilla around for that. I tend to go with just protein and water for my bedtime shake, that's where the Dymatize is worth the extra couple of bucks.

BioX is pretty tasty, too, and I think they are a Canadian company.

And of course I'm going to get to try the new LG protein very soon

:yeah

Where did you buy your elite?

I got it at a local supplement store in my city.

Well, I bought mine at a GNC
Judging by your complaints, it would seem you don't have the same product as I do.

Try it with skim milk, maybe your water is goofy.

dunno.

I use either ON or the Dymatize Elite Whey. Personally the Dymatize Elite Whey chocolate flavour is my favorite. It tastes great, the powder is very fine, mixes in very easy, the smell is great and no stomach issues with it. Try mixing it in with your morning oatmeal, I swear it tastes better then any other whey I've used.
