Anyone have any negative experiences with Ultimate Nutrition Iso Mass?
Just curious cause when i take it I get real bloated and feel nausiated, thought maybe it was just me but a buddy says the same thing.

Look to see if there is MCT oil in it that does it for me and many others.

I personally like ultimate nutrition, but gainers, regardless of who makes them, are going to bring a lot of bloat. As far as nausea goes, I think pretty much anyone who eats healthy all the time and then chugs that much sugar will get some unwanted digestive issues.

I, personally, advise against gainser. They've always made me way fatter. When I used them, I did put on a lot of pounds, but would end up loosing most of the muscle after cutting because of the ridiculously high bodyfat I had at that point.

My friend just ordered some Ultimate Nutrition Iso Mass. Like already mentioned above, I also have probs w/ nausea and bloat when it comes to gainers, all gainers. I think it has a lot to do w/ serving size in my case.

If I got to get some cals in a hurry, I'll have ~ 1/3 the suggested gainer serving, w/ one scoop whey protein. It will give me close to 500 cals. No bloat.

Screw the gainers man. A gainer is made of carbs, proteins and fats. These days many of them preach that they have complex carbs. Well so what, you can just grind up some oatmeal for carbs and some almonds for fats and add protein. This way you control how the macros. Usually I`ll have:

1 cup of oats
35grams or so of whey
throw in powdered almonds for about 10 grams of fat
eat an apple after.

If I`m at home and have a blender, yogurt, peanut butter and whatever you want can be put in there. Plus it will cost you way less. Ever think about how long a 10lbs will last if you use 3 shakes per day. Not long plus what if you want a shake at night and don`t want all those carbs, with the way I suggest you could just drop the apple and drink the oatmeal, whey and nuts or whatever you prefer... I love weight gainers, quickmass by allmax and lean mass gainer by bio x are my favorites.....sometimes it is hard to get in all those calories and carbs, i never use the full serving though, i maybe put 2-3 scoops weight gainer and 1-2 scoops of protein as a MRP shake and have a bowl of oatmeal as a meal....the majority of MRP in the marketplace do not have enough carbs for me

My $ is on cheap assed protein and the lactose that comes with it. There are options for a calorie boost. Coconut oil, flax oil, peanut butter, fruit, etc. There is a reason there are so much sugars (maltodextrin) in these gainers, malto is like $2/lb.

Hey I am new to working out but I want to gain some weight by the end of the year and I am looking at taking a gainer like IsoMass Xtreme Gainer or ALLMAX QUICKMASS at some point. But the issue is I am a diabetic and I don't know if these are right to take or if I should just go slow and start off with a simple protein power. So I am just looking to here what people think. Thanks

I am currently taking ISO-mass but i find if i take 4 scoops i feel like shit. Cut back to 3 or even 2 scoops and add liquid egg whites (8 or so) to make up for the protein loss of that one scoop. Goes down great and id rather take twice as many shakes with half the amount of gainer than to take the recommended 4 scoops and wanna barf it up....try it u will like it..

too much money but i LOVED it but 3 servings a day would mean that 85$ thing would last like a week so i go to truprotine n use my damin discound code :-P . i then put 4 25g scoops in, get 1 banana, handfull o frozenberrys, 4-5 tbl of penutbutter put it all in blender fillup with milk and blend. now you got a shake with about 1300cals i usaly have half then the rest later on.
thats a good gainer penutbutter has a lot of fat and calories . i do this almost everyday when bulking. i dont eat meat OR fish, so i rely on shakes more for my protien and it works just fine for me i add another 2 normal water protein shakes and have the smoothy and eat 3-4 times and luv it.

This thread died a long time ago, but I Am ressurecting it. Just wanted to add another positive voice for isomass. I've been taking it for two weeks as part of my pct and I am loving it. My srength gains had been tailing off but I smashed PRs for a bunch of lifts in the past week.

No problems with naseau. No bloat other than looking pregnant from stuffing food down my throat. And there isn't a lot of sugar in it. 5 grams per serving.

The arginine may cause naseau for some. I've read naseau is a major effect of large arginine doses. Much larger than the normal dose in a supplement, which you might be able to say about any compound I imagine.
