Small Bump in injection site

injected quad, and there a small non-visible lump that i can feel right on the site.

Like i said, its not colored, and you cant see it, i can just feel it, should i be worried?

I just looked it up and it said to apply heat and give it a massage to spread the oil, but i also read before that massaging is bad becuase it'll cause extra pain

No problem massaging. I've done it often. You may have a little bit of oil under the skin or a bit of irritation at the spot. It's a common thing.

But it wont affect the absorption of the gear right? it just might take a little longer?

Thats what i figured, but then i heard something about the gear possibly crashing inside and it would be a waste, never heard of that before, so i didnt know if there was any truth to it, but i figured id find out anyway.

I dont think you have to worry about any of that bro,
you'll be fine, i used to get lumps in my glute all the time,

right after injecting apply some pressure and massage.

lol amazing i just got a lump in my delt yesterday (twoonie size). I was getting worried.. im happy i ran into your thread.

Maybe you didnt inject properly?

I didnt go deep enough into my muscle and alot of oil started pouring out when i removed the needle. I figure all the oil got pushed out and is now just below the skin surface.

Does that make sence to you?

how long of a needle did you use? sometimes if you dont go deep enough the oil tends to sit on the top layer of the muscle which is ok but not as good as very deep intra injections.. if you used 1.5 inch your good to go.. just wondering.. o

usually when the oil comes back out you could expect a bit of pain and a lump,

i had no oil at all come back out, and i was using a 25 gauge 1 inch.

As deep as it goes, which is clearly an inch haha

I can pin my quad and delt and have zero lumps.. Take the same gear and inject in my glute and I get huge lumps that last 2-3 days.. Doesn't make sense cause I go deep enough ( 22 1.5" ).. Never understood why it happens, but I guess some people are more sensative in some inject spots that others.. Try using a rice bag on it. I find they work WAY better than heating pads as its much hotter and provides a "deeper" heat into the muscle..

i always Z-Track. (well in the 3 times ive injected haha)

But anyway, injected last night and no bump, so were good to go. Musta just got unlucky last time
