Hey, I'm entering a new bulking phase and I need to redo my stack, it pretty much looks like this:

Pre: VPX NO-Shotgun -- http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/vpx/no.html

During: CL Purple Wrath -- http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/clabs/purple.html

Post: GN SizeOn (directly after) -- http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/gn/size.html

Cytogainer (1/2 serving) (20 mins after SizeOn) -- http://www.bodybuilding.com/store/cs/gainer.html

I chose NO-Shotgun over SuperPump250 simply out of personal preference, and I love Cytogainer because it got a good nutrient ratio which encourages lean mass gain (not so much carbs over protein).

Does this stack seem to mix well?

Pretty lame attempt to advertise bb.com. Are they having financial trouble.

I say thread gets deleted. If it was a legit thread it would not be a first post and most of us know those products so you wouldn't have to link up to bb.com.

Meh, it's alright. It's not like bb.com needs more attention..lol

Most guys don't buy from them anyway as we have all their prods in Canada and if you do buy from the US, there are cheaper sites than bb.com :D

And don't ask me if those stack good together. I am a food and protein user. No exotic expensive supplements for me. Seen too many come and go at my age.

I don't know how people drink all that shit right before a trianing session, during, etc it distracts me from my workout, makes my stomach too full and I can't train worth a shit. I rather just have a good solid meal enough time before my workout so I'm not feeling too full, then pop maybe some sort of thermo before I train, then have a post workout shake.

Hehe, no I'm not trying to advertise bb.com, its just that it is indeed a good place when it comes to find the nutrition labels of every product in one place. If I was directly linking to the the companies' site you would have to search for it (and it would be like advertising the company)

But anyway, thx for the input!
(want me to change the links?)

BTW, what Canadian supplement site do you recommend?

You can try Fitness Etc / cheap ephidrine to see if they have what you need. Top left banner on the site. They sponsor cbb so we plug them when we can.

F**k supplements. Apart from protein powder, fish/flax oil, multi, green tea and CLA there isn't much more I take. Ok chocamine, mag taurinate and occasionally creatine.

Pre-workout, an apple and protein shake is as fancy as I get.

LOL at people spending 100$+ every months on pre-workout/NO/creatine stack. It reminding me the supplement section on bb.com. 160lbs teens arguing on supplements stacks... WTF! What about dropping your protein bars and get your nutrition/training in-check? Poor them...

i find pre workout supplements are pretty convineient , i used to make my own stack : creatine argenine caffeine taurine glutamine vit e/c
but that took forever, now i just buy the cheaper pre-workout supp brand and take 2-3x rec dosage works great plus i get a bunch of shit in it that i didnt before

during-workout supplements are only effective if youre on cycle imo, that way your body can actually use up the esterized BCAA's

i make my own during-workout stack when i train naturally: table sugar taurine and glutamine..keeps energy up and i dont cramp at all
for some reason i cant have sugar during workout when i was on cycle i feel like dieing..werid

commercial post work out supplements, again a waste if youre not on cycle, you can get the same results with reg protein, malto/dextrose glutamine and kooooooooool aid

gotta change the avatar....

The point I'm getting at is that I've blown thousands over the years and in the end there are the basics and all the NO products, get HUGE in 30days, change your DNA etc etc. Are BS! I opened a muscle mag at the chiro the other day and whoA! What a LOAD! I guess it gets the kids to give up the dough.

Of course, I take these in a cycle (about 1.5-2 months). Furthermore, I do not neglect my basic protein/carb intakes because of these, since they are after all supplements. I perfectly realize they won't make huge in a short amount of time.

Thanks for the answers and by the way what do you guys recommend for a good homemade intra-workout shake?

NO Shotgun contains BAEE----NO THANKS

Purple Wraath----Are you doing low carb or eating low amounts of protein? If not it's not worth it. If you want an intra EAA supplement look into Xtreme Formulations Vendetta, at least you know the aminos are coming from Ajinomoto.

Size-on----Was designed for intra and if you're going to use it I would drop the Purple Wraath and just take the Size-on during.

Cytogainer----If it's got a good amount of carbs and protein then roll with it, I just do Isolate and some sort of liquid carb.

I make my own stack as well. It's called food.

I only use whey protein. I have creatine on hand that I haven't taken for a long time, as well as glutamine and BCAA's. But whey is the only necessity.

I'd rather spend a couple hundred bucks and buy some goodies that work, instead of supplements that do little.

pre work out potatos/pasta/yams, chicken/fish/lean red meat, some veggies.

digest and work out

post workout
100g dextrose
50g whey

whole food and minimal supp IMO, save your money for more important supplements.

I don't know if there is anything on earth that gives me pumps like sweet potatoes.

LMAO! That's like saying I really hate fruits......well except apples, and oranges, and pears, and pineapple, and bananas.

I am a huge fan of waxy maize/creatine mono/whey protein combo. I also use pure L arginine and can tell you it is much cheaper and just as effective as any NO products imo.

lol, I still have to chuckle at that first quote hehehe.
