A very well done movie. Something you will want to watch when you can actually take it in as it gives you a lot to think about. It is not the regular tripe that is spewed out by Hollywood. I am sure it will reveal even more details if you were to watch it a second and third time. I would give this a 4+.

This movie is different than what hollywood has trained you to expect.

The best way to understand this movie is to place Tommy Lee Jones as the main character.

*****SPOILER******

The real "ending" of the movie takes place when TLJ is explaining his 2 dreams. For those that have trouble understanding what the ending was, rewatch that part and keep the title in mind. No country for old men. TLJ retires without going after the "bad guy" like you are used to expecting. Thus you get the feeling that the movie does not finish to your satisfaction.

I didn't like it. I liked it up until James Brolin's character got killed. I was like wtf?? After that the movie didn't make a whole lot of sense to me.

As has been posted this is not a typical movie. It is very allegorical in nature. It is similar in nature to Mulholland Drive. I suspect if you liked and understood that movie you will like this as well.

I watched it in two parts. The first part was exciting. Imagine finding the money? What was I thinking the second night? I didn't like the ending. Just cold.

Watched it last night... I liked it. That psycho guy was well played. I doubt any mechanics try and rip him off in real life.

Greatest movie since american psycho, and I loved the ending :p God forbid they do something that made it end differently than any other hollywood movie in existence.

Was a good movie with an unsatisfying ending. I'm kinda used to the bad guy getting caught. Oh well.

Good movie. I loved how everything was detailed and spot on. Like how the bad guy would survey his own room before entering the new room or when he took his shoes off to not make noise.
