:sup well I decided that rather then try to get all of the answers I need from various threads I would just ask on one. I'm looking to lose alot of fat and build muscle in the process. I don't need to be huge (I'm already a big guy) but built would be nice. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

:bch

Also forgot to mention that I am taking jiu jitsu so I need to stay as flexible as possible. I heard that some things will tense you up...

Hey there,

Don't wanna sound like an ass or anything, srsly. Just read your indruction post:

I new to bodybuilding/working out in general
You shouldn't be taking anything you can not buy at, lets say, GNC. (I'm using GNC as exmple :P) ..

Just workout and eat right with consistency, you'll reach your goals in no time. For real. You'll be surprised at how fast your body changes if you do everything right.

thanks for the reply schism... I have visited the local health shop and pick up some alpha-lipoic acid, CLA, and whey protein. seems to be workin well...atleast with the fat loss, but not so much in the muscle department. Mind you it has only been a month.

A good DIET is all you need. 5-6 meals per day with lean sources of protein, complex carbs and veg...plus a couple of protein shakes. This will give you the results you seek.

^^ True.

Congrats man!
Yup Yup. Congrats.

I remember my first month of solid training. A diet that consisted of mostly french fries and choco milk. :P
Before ya know, months will turn into yrs, yrs into decades. Best sport ever.

Have fun.

Add 3 grams of vit. C per day split in 3 doses, a B Complex formula in the morning, 400 iu of vitame E before bed with a ZMA type formula and you should be good. ZMA is simply a formula of magnesium, zinc with some b6 which you can much cheaper if bought seperately, preferably in chelated forms.

You might want to just get a hang of the basics mentioned above before doing this. Doing too much at once may overwelm you and then just decide to give up, which I really hope you don`t do. Good luck!

Can I mix ECA with CLA??? they're both fatburners so I'm not sure how safe it is...anyone??

cla isnt really a fat burner in that it melts fat,eca is a thermogenic which is nothing at all like eca so ya you can take both, dont make the mistake of upping your dose of eca thinking its effect has wore off ,even when you lose that jittery feeling of eca it is still working, if i were you id do what ritch says keep basics, food first plus protein supplements thats the biggest part of equation the rest will only work when the base is there
