Their servers are hosted in Sweden by PRQ Hosting who are owned by guys that founded Pirate Bay. So I think these guys know a thing or two about getting away with copyright infringement.

Its not like they took away the advertisements in the magazines, though it would be another kick in the ass to publishing companies if they did.

Not only the states bro, the RCMP are playing lapdog to the MPAA and RIAA, serving notices to Canadians on a daily basis.

lol subscription fees barely cover the printing costs

the real money is in the advertising, which is paid it depending on amount of subscribers

more subscribers = more money from adv companies per ad...

when people read online, the mags cant keep track to show increase in reading base to their advertising partners, hence loose money even if more people are looking at the ads
