Does anyone here take B12 injections?

just started today - its as easy as walking into a pharmacy and asking for it over the counter. But then again its only a vitamin

Useless if you don't have a b12 insufficiency

Actually Simon, its used for other purposes then deficiency.

"Vitamin B-12 is known to increase RBC (red blood cells.) It is also known to dramatically increase appetite and energy."

It also helps with sleeping, alertness, and sense of well-being. Im hoping that I can use to it to aid my appetite as Test seems to suppress it.

Anyone else supplementing with Cobalamin for appetite?

I had vit B-12 deficiency. Dr. didn't give my B-12 shots. Just sent me to shoppers to pick up a bottle of B-12 @ 1000mcg per tab. The Dr. said it was such a large dose, and if I my body only 'used' very small portion of the daily 1000mcg dose, B-12 levels will be back on track in no time.

Blood work 2 months after, and no B-12 deficiency. I really don't know if the shots are necessary, prolly better at bringing levels back up faster than pill, dunno, but if end result is the same.

I used it to boost my appetite while on orals and it didn't worked. Alot of experienced guys seem to think the same way, it doesn't change anything.

Let me know if you see any difference. I tried 2 times (1cc/week and 1cc eod). I didn't see any results.

If you were using the 1000mcg/ml concentration 1cc/week won't do anything, and even 1cc eod won't do much depending on your training, diet, stress levels, etc. I've used it many times and have settled on 2000mcg/day (2cc's) as what feels best for my body, but I've used doseages varying from 500mcg/day up to 10,000mcg/day and used both injectable and tabs.

My personal experience is that taking the tabs never made a difference besides giving me colourful urine, but for the injectable sutff, while on gear it doesn't seem to give noticable benefits simply because your system is already running at full throttle so you don't notice what its doing. However when clean and not taking anything else I've noted an increase in appetite, and energy levels.

I just did my first ever B12 injection, and actually my first ever injection. ****, it was easy as hell, i barely felt anything. I can't believe some people are afraid of needles.

Felt quite proud of myself, Z-tracked my left shoulder with 1 hand :D

My wife and I have both used B12 injections in the past. I didn't notice an increase in appetite, but we did both notice much more restful sleep and a sense of well being. That's worth something. I wouldn't be afraid of doing a cc every night for a while, then eventually tapering off. It takes a while to build up the good effects. There does not appear to be any recorded evidence of overdoses on injectable cyanocobalamin. I remember way back, early 80's, guys used to get huge bottles of it from someone at the horse race track. Probably got some other good stuff too.

try it in your belly, its easier to inject it there.

I think I'll stick with IM injects...I'm practicing :D

The shoulder was super easy anyways, pull skin with side of palm, needle straight in, aspirate, inject, lift palm so skin goes back, withdraw needle. Win.

sub q is even easier, but if your practicing, do your quads, and glutes too.
