Ok, im back at it.. I will likely keep provincials for 2016 as my leg development has recently started to take off but it will take another season for them to be where i want them to be in order to be competitive. This year I am doing the Toronto just for a cause to lean out, i am contemplating doing the Ottawa or another show later in the year.
Any how as for legs, here is the progress since last year.
My routine x2 days a week, squats at a high rep range, lunges, extension and curls. On my alternate day I use the hacksquat as it takes my lower back out of the equation and allows me to use more weight,
I recently started working with TNT (Tony Searle) to help me with the legs.
ot
I attaced a 14 weeks out , i still have some time to grow the legs but hope that by provincials they will be decent. Other pics are two offseason, made it to 267 this year.

He's training me out of Ottawa, initially i was also working with Scott Doucett now it's Tony and Iain Valliere. Scott really helped me get my form right, get my feet off the ground or should i say keep my feet flat when squatting. Ian has introduced some new ideas, using bands around my legs to force my knees out. The legs are still bad but with out the help from those guys i dont think i would have made much progress. Its hard to let the ego go, drop to light weight and start over but i guess its the right thing to do.
Tony helped me out with last years show, and i would have to say I came in the way I wanted. All I can say was that last years prep was pretty simple, no mumbo jumbo water load, no sodium tweaking. I look forward to see what he has in store this year. The guys he helped out this year looked fantastic in my opinion.
Are you form the Kingston area HoseHead? Im from there, moved to Ottawa 12 years ago, i miss the YMCA there.

They haves one at St. Laurent, if you go sunday before noon its nice and calm, sometimes im the only one there. They have power racks now for squats like the one at queen and a front squat machine, leg curl, leg press, space to do lunges.

I used to train at the old Y here in K town, I thought you looked familiar . Great db rack and great hack squat. That's how I built my quads - used to load six plates a side and go ass to grass with no belt for 12-15 reps but they started to sell off the decent equipment they had for total shit. I had to move to Goodlife , which ****ing blows too. My quads have never been the same.

6 plates ass to grass shit, thats sick. Yeah, i like the old school Ivenko dumbells, i love pressing those 150's. I find the grimier the gym the better. I grew up right next to that Y, we would sneak in the side door all the time when we were teens. I'm not a fan of good life either but i like their staff here in Ottawa so I try not to be to harsh on the gym.

Get it looked at could be a partial biceps tear. I have had both a full tear and a partial, had surgery both times to repair them. Takes about 6 months to get back to normal training. Avoid straight bar barbll curls...use the EZ curl bar.

Congrats on the win ! Great condition ! Like Prae said - get that bicep repaired if it's a partial tear. My buddy had a medium partial tear and he's been six months rehabbing it and went from curling the 80s to the 30s. take it slow.

Had to take a huge social media break in order to get life back in balance. I cant complain, the off season is going well. My focus is still on my legs and arms.
