A large bb'er gets these injections in his shoulder and a knee.Says it takes about 3 weeks to work and smooths things out.What have you seen regarding this stuff,is it common?

Synvisc is bascially a long chain derivative of hyluronic acid which has been used for some time now in treating joint issues in humans and animals. Seems to be effective depending on the condition.

Thanks.Only a hundred bucks for a shoulder with the rest covered by Alberta Health.400 for a knee.
