Hey P,

I've been on doctor prescribed HRT for 2 years @ 150mg test cyp EW, and just had arthroscopic hip surgery 3 weeks ago so decided to come off while I have some down time, stopped all HRT 2 weeks before surgery. My PCT is currently..

Week 1 and 2 - 250 iu HCG ED and .5mg Arimidex
Week 3 - Clomid 100mg ED and .5mg Arimidex
Currently on
Week 4-5 - 50mg Clomid ED and .5mg Armidex and Tribulus.

10 days left of PCT left.

Should this be sufficient to restart my boys after 2 years?

If anyone can answer this its you. Because my doctor has never heard of Clomid, HCG or Armidex.

THANKS!

If you are on doc prescribed HRT why are you coming off? Wasn't the reason u got out on because your body doesn't make enough testosterone? Not understanding why you want to come off...

I got the perscription after I competed last in 2012. Waited till my test levels dropped to gain the prescription, personally don't feel like running test for the rest of my life. Not saying I wont do another 12 weeker or something down the road, but I have no interest in competing again and want to start a family soon.

Sounds like a solid reason. Good luck with the family man.

it could slow your recovery from the surgery....probably should have waited to come off....what did your doc think?
(oops....saw this is in Prae's section after I posted)

From what I have read and Dave Palumbo has said is testosterone won't speed the healing of connective tissue. Only HGH will help with that. Plus vitamins such as glucosamine chondroitin and msm.

What is your age?

That PCT protocol looks quite week but it will depend on your age to much extent.

I can chime in after I know that.

7 days left of pct. Getting a little worried now.

Two weeks after PCT is finished I would suggest getting blood work to check test levels etc. At that point along with blood work see how you feel, what is your libido like? energy levels etc. It may be necessary to run PCT again if you are not recovered but I would look to blood work first to see what your levels are like. I wouldnt worry too much, you are young and will most likely recover easily.

Thanks for the reply, that is exactly what I will do. Will post on hrt results and 10 weeks after last shot and 2 weeks after pct for future reference.

So you scammed the system to get on HRT and now you don't want to be on HRT?

Exactly, already said why. Stop trolling. You were the biggest troll 2 years ago, nothing has changed I guess.

How are you going to handle the questions from your physician about blood work originally showing a need for HRT but now it doesn't? Might want to have some answers handy should it arise.

have you looked into triptorelin? Guys swear by it, lots of bro science and real science out there as well. Thats something id look into, also ask BLP.... he is extremely knowledgeable.

Cant see how tripotorelin would help at all..it actually decreases LH and FSH not what you want. Ive seen tonnes of bro science but nothing with any credibility at all and nothing with any science to back it up just a tonne of misinformation.

Here is my blood work 2 weeks after PCT concluded. Overall my mood feels the same, sex drive at around 40-50%, overall have lost in my best guess 10lbs of muscle and gained about the same amount of fat. Just started back at the gym 2 weeks ago as well.

PROLACTIN - 6.1
range 2.1 - 17.7

LH - 19.2
range 1.5 - 9.3

FSH - 18.8
range -1.4 - 18.1

ESTRADIOL - 73
range 0 - 205

SEX HORMONE BINDING GLOBULIN - 31
range 13 - 71

BIOAVAILIBLE TESTOSTERONE - 2.15
range 2.10 - 8.50

TESTOSTERONE - 10.8
range 8.4 - 28.7

What do you make of the overstimulated LH and FSH levels and lower end test results?

Thanks P,

LH and FSH may be elevated due to using HCG which mimicks both as well as clomid/nolva. Bioavailable T is on the low side but will most likely elevate with time this is quite normal. I would wait for a month or two and then retest and see where things are.

I though the whole point of getting blood work done 2 weeks post clomid and 5 weeks post hcg was that all the drugs should have cleared and give an accurate result?

Praetorian

The drugs should have cleared yes...however FSH, LH etc could still be elevated artificially. This is the very reason why blood work is done again say a month out just to see if the recovery is "sticking".
