The gist of the article is basically illustrating that even though you may be in ketosis and your primary source of fuel is free fatty acids this does not necessarily lead to a continual reduction of overall fat mass. The body is using existing fat stores as well as ingested fat for fuel and can be in a balanced state of even a state of increasing fat mass. This is true and is the very reason why you need to use training and cardio as tools to push the body into a state of fat loss. The body will adapt to the initial state of ketosis and caloric intake as well as the duration of cardio and training. Thus, in order to prevent adaptation you need to gradually increase these variables over time, not to mention adjusting the diet when these variables hit the outer extreme..ie high amounts of cardio etc.
