View Full Version : Need advice or opinions on my current diet plan

My current diet is as follows: My goal is to gain lean muscle mass. Is this diet plan ok???

Meal 1: 4 whole eggs in coconut oil,1 scoop of whey protein and veggies
Meal 2: 1 cup of brown rice, 8 oz chicken and veggies
Meal 3:veggies 1/3 cup of nuts,8 oz ground turkey breast
Meal 4: preworkout 2 scoops whey isolate mixed in 1 cup of oatmeal and 1 tbsp of peanut butter
post workout 1 scoop of whey protein and 1 scoop of greens
Meal 5 : 1 cup of white rice and 8 oz chicken breast
Meal 6:8oz extra lean ground beef, 1 cup of white rice and veggies

Looks good!
Only thing i would change is add more protein variety...instead of chicken add salmon or trout, or steak, bison etc

Thanks Prae. Shouldn't a person have simple carbs like a bagel,white bread etc immediately after your workout with a protein shake then an hour later have white rice with chicken? Or is a protein shake all you need?Thanks in advance.
