Hey everyone and hello summer!! See what I did with the title there? ;) I know this topic has been posted before but with me, there are a few differences that I'd like to touch upon. First off, I'm almost done dieting down! I officially end in 2 weeks, I'm a bit behind schedule because of some unexpected traveling. So far I've lost 12.3 lbs total and I'm sitting around what looks to be 10-11ish% body fat. I'm also still on low carbs.. have some medical tests to do still and plus, low carb has worked out for me so far so I thought I'd just stick to it for the time being. Problem is, I've had stretch marks where my pectoralis inserts into my shoulder for a while and I thought they'd disappear with the dieting down. Unfortunately, they're still here. I only intend on losing about 1 lb more before slipping into 'maintenance mode' and staying there for the summer so I think they are here with me to stay unless I can do something about it.
I know a lot of people say that they are 'battle scars' and to 'wear them with pride', but they kinda ruin my physique in my eyes. I was wondering if you guys knew of any products or techniques that I could use to maybe help with this? Also is this normal for guys my age? A lot (or all) of you guys are older on here I know, did this happen when you started training as a teenager? I'm just curious because they always say that your skin is the most elastic when you are younger to compensate for you growing. I think I'm done growing hopefully but maybe my skin is just really sucky when it comes to this? Hahaha! Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated! :)
Thanks!
