I was lucky enough to be sent two bottles of Omega Blue to help me through my preparation for the OPA Stratford Championships. I wanted to use an omega supplement because my diet approach is a higher carb lower fat scheme. However, our bodies always needs it's essential fats. Using an omega supplement allows me to get my bodies essential fatty acids even if I restrict the amount of fats consumed through dietary means.
Omega Blue satisfied this need, I have managed to scale back my dietary fats yet still maintain perfect help through optimizing this supplement.

Essential Fatty Acids or EFAs supplements are one of the hardest labels to read. Each one claims brain health or cardio help or this or that and it gets rather confusing. Also lots through in words like concentrated, but what did they concentrate? A lot of the concentrated products actually have less EFAs. What you should be looking for in an omega supplement is the amount per serving of eicosapentaenoic acid or EPA and docosahexaenoic acid or DHA. These are the two omega 3 EFAs that are the hardest to get through dietary means and often under consumed during caloric restriction. There are other fatty acids which offer benefits when supplemented; however, these other fatty acids shouldn't take away from the total of EPA and DHA in the supplement.

Lucky for me, Omega Blue outlines clearly the amount of EPA 800mg and DHA 400mg in each serving. This is as "concentrated" as I have ever seen unless you are swallowing a horse pill which might be concentrating the serving amount but not the size.

I have taken Omega Blue for around a month now and lowered my dietary fat intake, I have not noticed any change in any function related to fat consumption. My mood has been on point, I think clearly, my hair and skin look just great. The only difference is that by supplementing with Omega Blue I have managed to pull extra calories away from my fat intake and lead to a better body composition and also the ability to reallocate some of those calories to carbohydrates for more energy on heavy training days.

Another note is my joints which are typically an issue have been smooth as butter, I don't know if this is due to the anti-inflammatory properties of EFAs or the fact that I am also stacking Omega Blue with Blue Star Nutraceuticals Joint Armour; I'd say it's definitely a combination
.
One of the most important factors of supplementation to me are the more superficial aspects. What I mean by this is taste and mixability of shakes and other drinks and other things of the sort. In the case of a pill there is typically nothing to factor in, but anyone who has taken EFAs enough know where I am going. The gross burpy or sweaty fishy smell and taste that comes along with this category of supplementation. Well rest assure Omega Blue has nothing of the sort, I have taken it with or without food, right when I wake up and before bed. Never have I had an issue with burping up fish smell or taste or having fish breath or altering my body smell. The capsules are actually coated with a pleasant and very light citrus smell, I assume a citrus taste as well but I don't let pills sit in my mouth long enough to find out.

Overall, Omega Blue is a great EFA supplement, and if EFAs are a staple of your supplementation or something you are looking to try out I definitely recommend looking into Omega Blue.

Shit man, how do you get so ripped. I'm 54 dealing with fibro and weigh 135 lbs. 5'6" . I am not fat but have a hard time getting rid of the 1 inch belly fat. My abs are there screaming to get out but I wonder If I take too much proteins. I take Allmax Iso natural in almond milk because I'm gluten free one scoop in the morning, sometimes one scoop during the day If I'm hungry and one scoop after training or during. I use to take a lot more. My diet is pretty good, avoid junk and carbs as much as I can, no chips and chocolate in my house since I'm carb intolerant to a certain degree. I do 1/2 hour of cardio before my trainings every other day so I wonder why my belly fat doesn't melt faster. I must be taking too much of something. You have the body I want, I'm not there muscularly because of my bone structure and fibro preventing me from pushing heavy but If I could get my abs to show up more I would be happy, thanks for any help and congratulation for your achievement, I know how much work you put in !! Oh by the way I started taking Animal Flex for my joints, GH freak helps me falling asleep and I'm trying Anabolic freak because my testosterone went down, cheers !
