View Full Version : Thoughts on cutting cycle

Hello P,

Been reading the boards for over a year now, and decided to ask for some assistance from you and the community. I am 28 years old, 6'1, 202 lbs. Been working out since I was 17 with little breaks here and there. I decided to try my first AAS cycle last fall with good gains. I did 50mg of Dbol ED for 5 weeks, and 500mg or test enth weekly (injected twice a week) with arimidex on hand and nolva for pct. I went from 184 to 205 after my 12th week. After the whole cycle I maintained 200 lbs however my diet sucked after and gained probably 6-8 pounds of fat.

Now spring is upon us I wanted to try a cutting cycle. Here is my plan for diet (got some good ideas from you, I am a very simple eater as well....)

Meal #1 - 4 Whole Eggs with Omega 3
4 Egg Whites
Meal #2 - 50g Whey Protein with 1 tablespoon All Natural Peanut Butter
Meal #3 - 7 oz Boneless Chicken Breast w/ steamed Brocilli
1/3 Cup of Nuts
Meal #4 - Same as meal 2
Meal #5 - 7 oz Boneless Chicken Breast w/ steamed Brocilli
Baby Spinach Leaves drizzled with 1 tablespoon of olive oil
Meal #6 - Same as meal 2

I plan on going light heart rate cardio every morning starting with 30 mins and working up from there (will do 4-5 days a week)
For weight training I will do 5 days a week at night (Chest, Back, Shoulders, Arms, legs, then two rest days)

For supplements and AAS -

Whey protein, creatine mono, glutamine, multi vitamin, milk thistle, beta alanine.

80 mg of anavar ED, 300 mg test prop per week (injected EOD), clenbuterol - week 1-2- 20mcg twice daily, week 3-4- 20mcg three times daily, week 5-6 20 mcg 4 times daily, then taper off. With clen, i want to implement Benedryl for 7 days every 3 weeks (50-100mg)

My main questions - Would you add/take away anything in my plan? Would test prop be the best for cutting purposes? I am leaving for 5 days to Florida week 6, what would I need to do in order not to mess up my cycle as I will not bring over the test prop to the states...i.e - inject 300mg the day im leaving? or more?

In your diet I would switch chicken in meal#5 to lean ground beef or steak...you should have one lean protein meal(chicken) plus one fatty protein meal (red meat or salmon).

I dont see any need for anavar...its weak and kills your appetite not to mention it may cause upset stomach...if you arent competing all you need to effectively diet is test. I would suggest test cyp, enanthate, or sustanon at 500mg weekly...injections twice per week. Long ester is better for stable blood levels and when you leave for the states you will still have 3-4 weeks of test in your blood.

You will not get much water retention with long ester test while dieting because your carbs will be very low. Are you only dieting for 6 weeks? I would suggest 12 and run the clen the last 8 or so. Start cardio with 20min per day every day and add 5-10min daily each week. You can go up to 20mcg six times daily on the clen without issue.

Thank you for your comments!! The main reason why I wanted to take Anavar was that one of my good friends just finished his cycle and had a few bottles left over that he said he would give me for half of what he paid, so I thought why not.

I like the idea of the Sustanon, ill most likely try this out. Same goes switching one of the meals to a fatty protein.

Since my main goal for this cycle is to cut right down to a single digit body fat % while maintaining and putting on some lean mass, would I need anything else? I keep on reading about fish oil and it not actually being beneficial to ones health. Any thoughts on this or other supplements I need?

A good fish oil is great for health but it wont make any "noticeable" difference in fat loss...it may help but its not like youll see it. To get to single digits isnt difficult if you have a decent diet and do your cardio and training.
