Hi guys,

my second post. related to my first. Thank you to P and Cog for comments on that one.

I am looking for anyone who has had "long term" success with TRT, i.e. more than a year. I am 46, was 250, now 220, looking to go to 190. Strong, good body, just no freekin libido.

Thanks all.

I know many guys on TRT for years. It is widely used and prescribed of physicians throughout Canada and the US...why would you believe it is not successful?

P, thanks, that's good to hear. I admit I know sh*t. I just want to make sure that I don't end up making things worse instead of better.

I have read the stories that the gels (Andro/Testim) initially work, but stop due to absorption resistance. I understand that this can be avoided via IM. Then there is the excess E2 and endogenous shut down of T to worry about.

Every credible study I have red strongly points to the efficacy of TRT. Absolutely. I was hoping to find more anecdotal, posts along the lines of " wow, this shit is great ! "

I see my doctor tomorrow, my free T is 20.4 (no one knows the units, not even the nurse). Normal range is 25 to 80. So I am sure he will give me a prescription to gel, but I will ask for IM Test Cyp.

Anyway I would rather continue living strong for another 30 years instead of weak for 50 years.

As always thanks for guidance. Hope to pay it forward.

You may need to use an AI depending on how sensitive you are to estrogen...some guys need it some dont.
