Can you give me your feedback on how the board is doing. Strong points, points that need improvement etc? That way in time I can make the improvements to make it a better place for us all.
And for those that read the board without having registered. Join us, we'd love to have you aboard :)

I think the board is doing great. Lots of new members, lots of camaraderie and very little if any drama.
I'd like to see different sections for GH/IGF-1, AAS and PCT. All the info regarding these subjects seems jumbled up into the AAS section.

I've talked with few people on this board and everyone made me feel at home!! Most answers questions i had and only had one goof, try to sell shit to me . Everyone else here is awsome, Board is great as is memebers.

I like this idea. But ultimately is there enough traffic to support 3 sections?
I like the appeal of the smaller board without all the bullshit of some of the big boards. It's nice to be able to follow all the threads without reading through 10 pages of shit. We've got a good crew on here.

I am really happy to have found this place. There's lots of good advice, good discussion, and useful information and very little of the kind of BS posturing that so many people seem to love doing on some of the other bodybuilding boards.

I don;t think the amount of traffic matters. It just would be much easier for people to find the info they need rather than scrolling through unrelated info. Also, when the three sections are created, stickies could be made related to each section.
more stickies! there is way too much good info on the forum... its just a pain to find what youre looking for.
maybe take the most informative replies on the most common questions and sticky those or even make a new subforum out of them?
ps. amazing site and i do enjoy all the customization that the software supports

The amount of traffic on the board is amazing. I've only been checking in consistently for a little bit but compared to other boards (even well established/big/American/etc. ones) the amount of posts is great considering most places are seeing a significant decrease in traffic.

I like that there is no drama on this board. I believe for the most part it is due to a lack of source sponsors. Source sponsors will only cause trouble. I have seen that some boards have the most recent posts linked at the bottom of the page. I always found this helpful.

i agree this board is great as far as being respectful and not flaming people even if they post stupid questions, agree there could be some info on here posted as stickies,ie pct protocols, but this is one of the most user fiendly boards and i wouldnt change too much...kiss method

Maybe instead of having stickies you could make a section called 'Essential Info' or something and bump good threads over to there and use it kind of as a reference section. Nice to see its finally kicking CJM's ass. I remember back a while ago there would only be 2-4 new posts every few days.

Have some contests. Body fat loss / weight gain for the smaller bros - challenge or something. That might be interesting. Or monthly progress articles.. that will bring more attention I would think.

I like it here. There is more traffic than on Nexus which is nice. Is there a way for me to change the background colours? That would be a nice option. The black and red makes me sad :(.
I like gsxr750's idea about contests. There could be different categories based on age, AAS use, guys who compete and guys just doing it for fun etc...
I think I remember there being a natural training sub-forum a while back. Maybe not though, was it not very popular? Am I the only natural bodybuilder who competes on this board?

Could have a competition between two members. See who can drop the most weight in 45 days. You pick a member of the two and sponsor him. $5 or whatever. The guy who wins, gets all the cash.
Then you have a little interforum battle goin' on, and a good way to motivate a couple members towards their goals.

I follow great board owners and CBB is proving to be as great as his other ones.
Members welcome everyone. No Drama, and no trolls that I have had to deal with.
Over time members become friends in real time and that involves so much trust. Trust is only had in a place that one feels secure at.
Like home. CBB

You can do that. Go into User CP at the top left of the screen. Then click edit options and scroll down to the avatar part.

If I know someone is under 18, I usually tell them to stay out of the AAS forum or they will be booted from the board. Minors should not be dabbling with that stuff.
And I increased the picture amounts to 6 as you asked for.

Youtube vids can be embeded by using the embed code on the youtube page. If you post it in a forum here and it doesn't show up, let me know and I'll allow html in it so it will work.
UkrainianGuy
02-10-2008, 03:30 AM

MuSuLPhReAk
02-10-2008, 03:39 AM
Here is a screenshot of a youtube vid. Copy the embed code and then go paste it in the thread/post you want the vid to show in.
It looks something like this
<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fJrzV-y5a00&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fJrzV-y5a00&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>
Since HTML is not enabled in this forum, you see the text. If the forum you paste it in has HTML enabled, you'll see the youtube vid live on the site.
MuSuLPhReAk
02-10-2008, 03:42 AM
Ah shit, html is enabled here. But the code looks something like this
<object width="425" height="344">
<param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/fJrzV-y5a00&hl=en&fs=1"></param>
<param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param>
<embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/fJrzV-y5a00&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

You can start threads on them in the OT section. If they catch on, I'm ok to make a forum dedicated to it :)

And I'm happy you mentioned rapidshare. A lot of you should learn about it and it's beautiful benefits. I love it :D

wuts rapid share??
ZeOne
04-10-2008, 02:29 AM
yep, rapidshare is great! :)
Although I say a dedicated section for the music topic will make people more at ease posting musical stuff, and you will have a lot more music discussions that if it was to be left in the OT.
People like to be guided in what they do and to work within a specific framework and guidelines. The compartmentalizing of these categories will assist them and encourage them to discuss these topics by providing a dedicated place to discuss these said topics.

IMO...I can't talk much about male gear and CB is to much imo about it. MN has more talk about training and the lives we live outside of the gym too, CB does not.
I can't log into MN but I can read the recent posts.
I"m more into talking about training rather then gear. I don't know ug labs today, but I do know my training style. MN was family...CB seems transient.
I'm with you MP.
AlbertaBeef
07-11-2008, 01:20 PM
I totally agree with that, I think it's sad when I can see the training forum sit dormant for a couple of days and then a post or thread will keep it going for a little while. Training and diet are pretty much the biggest part of our lives aside from God and family and all the chatter about gear should be more peripheral I would think. There is a lot of experience and some great minds on this board.

I actually think that is a good idea, the board has improved 10 fold in my opinion since the moderation was completed. I would almost consider leaving a few of the mods permanently in place due to there awesome work ethic and keeping on top of the board. You'd almost think this was there 9-5 with how clean the board has been. A+++

The only thing I think the board is missing is some good quality sticky threads, especially for the AAS section maybe a beginners thread and injection thread and a good PCT thread, I found all the info I needed by searching but it would be nice to have easy access to that info for the newcomers.
