I looked through the UFC heavyweight division and all I can see him fighting is Cheik Kongo. Nog will submit him if he fights him. But the heavyweight division sucks right now.

Yup, i lost a ton of respect for him when he did that shit at the end of the fight. Absolutely no class there. I hope he does fight Nog next and gets choked to sleep or better yet a limb torn off.

I'd love to see Kongo fight Lesnar, but there's too much chance of a first-round KO. It's an awkward situation for the UFC matchmakers. It's pretty clear that Brock is a big enough name to work as an extra draw below the main event... but it's also clear that he is just a big, strong, surprisingly quick guy with only a very limited MMA skillset. If they put him in against a top guy, he'll be exposed as a fighter and they won't be able to keep making money off of his name... so I'd guess that they'll give him a few more fights against guys who don't quite have the skills to knock him out or make him tap. If he doesn't start finishing guys pretty soon, though, then his name value will drop and they'll probably just let him get schooled. That'll be fun to watch.

Congo for sure as they are both brain dead and slow!

Lesnar will come around. I guarantee he's working very hard on his submissions right now as we speak. Not sure if he's got any power behind those punches but I'm sure they don't feel nice when he appears to have a lot of explosive power. He'll win the next one but he'll be fighting against a chump without a name at all.

Brock Lesnar Could Be Closer Too Title Shot Than You Think

Fiveouncesofpain.com's Sam Caplan breaks down the UFC Heavyweight Rankings in an article at CBS Sports, and when you really take a look at the UFC Heavyweight division, Brock Lesnar really isn't that far away from a shot at the UFC Heavyweight title.

1. Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira
2. Fabricio Werdum
3. Gabriel Gonzaga
4. Frank Mir
5. Brock Lesnar
6. Heath Herring
7. Cheick Kongo
8. Cain Velasquez
9. Shane Carwin
10. Antoni Hardonk

In terms of the UFC by it's self, these rankings are pretty much as close to official as you can get. With two or possibly even one win over Werdum or Gonzaga, Lesnar could basically become the nubmer one contender to the heavyweight crown.

Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira will defend his title against Frank Mir in December following the eighth season of the Ultimate Fight in which they are coaches on and if Lesnar does fight and win his next fight or two he could be in line for a title shot in early 2009.

Sounds like he might be fighting Randy Couture in November.
