My name is Lindsay Santagato ,
I am (was) a competitive marathon runner looking to make a switch into fitness competitions. I am a very dedicated and hardworking person and I think that plays a role in my choice of becoming a firefighter and taking on the extreme training of competing in marathons. After many years of running I decided to take on the challenge of running from Ontario to Alberta, I completed the run but was plagued with endless injures ...I beleive competing is the next chapter for me. For the past couple of years I have been interested but never really knew where to start? Now that I am moving on from running I need something that will challenge me mentally and physically- please someone guide me in the right direction:)!
