Yes. 2 days after I made a small order through IR, someone took 1.3k from my visa and tried $900 later the same day. The transaction was made in South Carolina.

That's strange...

What or Who is IR if I may ask?

Edit: If it is a source for something illegal, then I don't want to know although I would be surprised of you used your credit card for such a transaction.

It's possible man. I have no idea. At least Visa gave back my money.

I still receive no package from them.

Makes me weary of ever ordering from research chem sites. I find if ever ordering online stuff to use a lower limit credit card or a prepaid one to be a lil bit safer.

I thought I read that IR doesn't ship to Canada anymore since beginning this year.

I had the same thing happen to me the same day I ordered from supplementscanada.com last week.

I saw that in the faq after I ordered. But they still sent it anyway. Well, I receive a email saying they shipped my keto. We'll see what happen

Shitty deal. Could be them or maybe they were hacked. But if hacked, usually your credit card would have been filled up within minutes.

Hmm that doesn't sound too good....If it isn't maliciousness on the part of IR/supplementscan, then it implies that both your web browsers were infected while visiting sites that any of us might visit too (bb/gear/nutrition/etc).

I don't know much about computer stuff, but I know that I had my firewall disabled for the last couple of weeks because it was interfering with my internet connection. I kept telling myself I have to try to get that issue fixed, but kept putting it off. Could this have led to the situation?

A firewall is important but I doubt a lack of one was the cause. However, your computer my be infected by a trojan\worm that the firewall may have indicated or blocked malicious traffic. I am wondering if an infection caused the internet issues in the first place. You can download and run spybot to help clean things up.

Did you use your credit card online for anything else? There is a lot of phishing scams out there that look very genuine.

He's right, you can run a computer with no firewall and be 'fine' if your computer is clean to begin with.

I doubt it is something on your computer honestly.. but like Randy said ..

1) I'd run a virus scan first. You can't really remove spyware if the cause of it ( the virus ) isn't removed first. Boot your computer in safe mode w/ networking and run an online-virus scan. This gives usually better results since the virus database files aren't stored on your possibly already infected pc where they can be compromised.

Once you've ran that through TWICE to make sure the second time didn't come back with any abnormalities, then run your Spybot to remove any spyware - before shutting your computer down and turning it back on. Third step would be to run a local system scan with your preferred software ( AVG, NOD32 etc.. )

Good luck!

No I haven't used my credit card online for anything else recently. I think the issue with the firewall is from this: http://www.zonealarm.com/store/content/support/techSupport.jsp;jsessionid=IThWjpB6lv3LxVDI8xqNf5w H51NbwoQDOHAHZxkZOCgDyy6ze7Zg!-1727132666!-1062696903!7551!7552!NONE?dc=78lts&ctry=CA&lang=en

I would ditch Zone Alarm man. Sooo many loopholes in that software. You're better off investing that money into a router. With proper configuration, it will leave you MUCH more secure than a software-based firewall - and will probably cost you less money in the long run.

Something to consider I guess.

It always amazes me that software manufacturers always blame Microsoft. It was my understanding that the OS, Windows in this case, is the base other software operates on. Therefore it is the software manufacturers responsibility to make it work with the OS. End of rant.....

As for the firewall a hardware firewall is more secure. You can get them for less than $100 from places like Futureshop and Best Buy. The DSL routers that Bell gives out do have a firewall but it is disabled in order to sell you their security package. Spybot is great because it also monitors changes to your registry so that if you happen to click on the wrong link while surfing porn you will be warned if something trys to install.

I just received another email saying they don't ship to Canada anymore and that my order has been cancelled. But why I've been billed and I received a shipping confirmation 5days ago...

I won't use them anymore. That's 100%

Weird, wonder if that's how they're covering their ass and you'll still end up getting it anyways?

Actually I just have the free version of Zone Alarm so it doesn't cost me anything, but thanks for the tip though, it is something I will consider.

I used them several times in the past and never had a problem. Made an order not that long ago like you and was told it was shipped. After not recieving it I e-mailed them and they said they no longer shipped to Canada even after getting confirmation that the package had been sent. They told me they would refund the cash to my visa and they did. You should try to e-mail them to sort it out if you have any concerns. They stopped Canadian shipments more or less because of late most packages had been seized.
