Telemarketing blocking?

Recall people talking about something that you can do to block telemarketers from calling your line. Is there a site now set up by the government where you can add your number to a list?

I was asking on behalf of someone else. My number is un-listed phone number. Not sure I trust Bell or this site....hate to give me un-listed number only to start getting calls.

The CMA is recommended by the CRTC. They are legit. You should be OK :) The CMA list will only help for telemarketing organizations that subscribe to it though.

Only way to stop the calls is to walk into the call center and shoot the bastards. I can't count how many leafs of paper I throw away from junk faxes, SOB's!!!

I forgot to mention the toner costs too and calling Bell Canada is a joke, as usual. I find I turn off the fax machine now and only turn it on when needed but that kinda ruins the idea of having a fax machine in the first place. GRRRRRRR! :(
