Any difference between liquid or capsule vitamins? Been reading that liquids are better handled and absorbed by the body compared to pills/capsules. Can anyone chime in that is more familar with this debate.

I've never seen liquid vitamins. My gf had some vitamin water the other day though, but she told me she heard it ISN"T absorbed properly. That's all I got. Now, if you're comparing capsules to tablets, capsules are better. Tablets are more difficult to break down.

Capsules are good. Tablets can be difficult to digest. I was told this by a naturopath. He stated that some tablets will pass right through people with less than optimal digestive systems. He also said they are absorbed better when taken with food.

Always eat before taking your daily vitamins, many vitamins and minerals need fat to be present for them to be absorbed and present in your bloodstream.

yeah I was at the mall and picked up some vitamins and was looking at a company name NAKA. They have a few liquid formulas and a bunch of pamphlets stating why liquid is better for the body than caps or tabs. So it got me wondering if it is actually true or just a marketing scheme.
