Women & Testosterone Cream

This is an old question, but my lovely lady of only 47 years old seems to have entered the beginnings of menopause and her periods are rare but heavy. (Don't worry, the question is not to do with gynaecology.) She still has plenty of vigour, if you know what I mean. Her doctor wants to put her on progesterone, but she fears that will kill her sex drive and "feminize" her. (She's in great physical shape.) I suggested me getting some rub-in testosterone cream from my urologist (since I'm using my own injection system) and massaging in the equivalent of about 50 mg/wk of the Test to go with her progesterone. I expect her sex drive will increase, if anything.

Question is, will such a small transdermal amount cause any virilization symptoms? I would put her on for four weeks then off for three weeks. Make sense?

This is looking ahead. She hasn't even decided to use progesterone yet.

Her clit will enlarge. perhaps only a little bit. she will be more sensitive as well. Some women are bothered by this while others believe it to be a good thing; as it makes it easier for her partner to find the thing!

Have you considered Anavar? or deca ? NPP? or are you staying away from injects entirely for some reason?

Thanks for the response, SFU. That small amount could affect her hair? She won't like that. Clit size & sensitivity? Have to admit it would be a blessing. Maybe no more 40 minute tongue lashings to get to touchdown! Three weeks off, I was thinking, would allow her natural system to modulate itself & lessen virilization symptoms. Actually, years ago I tried massaging a bit of Test P oil, but nothing happned. However, when I had some cream, I slipped a bit into the hot massage oil I used on her (with her vague permission). In a few days, she was energized in every way. But she seemed to get quite edgy & emotional when I ceased administering it. Maybe staying on is better! She will have nothing to do with needles. But she's very athletic, so she would really enjoy the advantages there.

The hair loss and hair growth factor is completely individual. I dark haired then the facial hair is typically more prominent.
oily skin will be a factor for sure.
Personally she wont need to recover after 4 weeks on, i would run it longer if the reaction is good to exogenous test.
But start low and slowly work your way up with this.
She will hold extra water. She can also use nolva if it gets to be a problem, at a low dose as well.
Anavar is a nice choice other than cream.
Start at 5mg/day, with food if using var.

yup, that small amount could affect her hair.
she will STILL take the full 40 minutes, possibly the full 4 quarters to make a touchdown - they enjoy it too much... greedy little kittens they are!

one thing that is very noticeable is that the hot flashes lessen every way: fewer hot flashes and the hot flashes that do happen are less intense/duration.
From 14-17 ( intense / long ) per day down to about 1 -3 short & mild intensity .

the hot flashes she experiences during the night will fall away as well.

too bad she doesn't like needles. 50 mg/10 days or so of deca or even npp helps out a lot of women who are going through menopause. or who just want an extra oomph in their activities.

if she had blood work done, then you could follow her E2 etc levels to see how it is working with the testosterone.

the oily skin thing: yup. Good call on that one.
face in and around the T zone and creases in her skin, around the nose.
nothing extreme- just a bit of oily skin that she isn't used to having. alcohol cotton balls do the trick or some other cleanser.
it isn't like she is going to break out with bacne or anything like that.

like Ironwill says, the time off is not really necessary. you could do 'less daily " for a longer period of time, see how the effects are with her. a little bit goes a long way.

The anavar I have seen doesn't really lend itself to cutting into halves and certainly not quarters. The pills crumble , rather than split. So get a better source than what I have as the pills aren't pressed properly. Try to 10 mg pills rather than the 20 mg as it might be easier to split the 10's to get the initial low starting dose. I had the 20's ( "made in France") and the things simply would not cut into 4 pieces with the pill splitter.

Do not use cotton balls and alcohol on acne caused from oily skin. It will cause the skin to produce extra oil to combat the loss of it via alcohol. gentle cleansing of the area, with a good moisturizer after is best, non parfumed and natural with aloe if possible.

Well, okay, thanks gents. Alcohol with cotton balls certainly helps clear my skin; good soap cleansers too.

I still think Test cream in low doses is more effective than crushed anavar or deca. The idea is a touch of androgen, after all, not just an anabolic. Be fun to administer, too. We're trying Maca powder now, but herbals are never certain to affect anything...
