Just purchased one of these, tried it out last night. For those not familiar, the bar is cambered, resting on your back the weights sit a couple of inches in front of you,and you have a 12 inch handle on either side of your neck that you can manipulate. This allows you to sit back more erect, tried narrow medium and fairly wide and liked all three.Apparently can be used with a GHD as well.Any experts on the use of this bar here?

Sounds cool I think that bar could help me get lower.

I used one for the first time last week. We did a few light Squats then Good mornings after doing tons of Deadlifts and Pause Squats with a normal bar.

I loved the good mornings, had 1p25 on each side and felt like it was 315, great feeling.

Haven't tried the good mornings yet.First thing I noticed when I unracked it with a pair of 45's( can't remember if the bar is 45) is that it felt heavier because the weight is not centered like a regular oly.

yes it's heavier or at least the one I used. I believe it was 65 lbs. I also found it wanted to push me forward so staying tight was a must. It's also good if you have shoulder issues.

Staying upright works my low back more intensely.Feels more like a front squat without the discomfort on the shoulders.Vastus medialis gets worked hard.Really liking this bar,too bad so few Canadian gyms actually have any decent equipment.

Tried this bar with step ups.Hands on the cage for a little balance.Apparently Russian oly lifter Anatoly Pisarenko did nothing but step ups the last two years of his career, maxing out at 400+ for 3 IIRC.Hams were shaking.Been awhile since I did these regular on a machine, got up to around 40% more than one half my normal squat poundage before I got a tweak.

Near rock bottom wide stance with hands touching the cage,up about half way and back down.Lunges are comfortable.
