1. which would slow a meal down and lower gi of it, adding fats or fiber or both? can you add both and is there anytime to avoid adding both?

2. i read somewhere aceto saying he is not an advocate of bcaas or other supps but saying adding 5g of Leucine pre and post workout helps with muscle growth. is there a speicifc version he is talking about or is raw Leucine powder ok? he said the amount in bcaa formulas is useless and leucine is the only thing in there at works anyways.

thx.

There are different types of fiber each having different effects. Soluble fiber slows transit time and insoluble fiber speeds it up. Fat slows down the digestive process ie amino acids and glucose enter the blood stream more slowly. Of course you can have fats and fiber together...the only time you dont want them is if you want to increase the process of glucose of amino acids entering the blood stream...is pwo.

Leucine is the amino acid that shows the most promise out of the BCAA's...however dont expect to gain 10lbs of muscle just because you added it...its not a miracle.
