I have done 3-4 12 week cycles and the biggest "side" issue for me with cycles comes afterward: the depression, lack of motivation, no sex drive etc. for months afterwards (I do proper PCT). I have been reading about short cycles, so here's my plan:

Wk 1-3: 100 mg test-prop ED
Wk 1-3: 50 mg Winstrol ED
Wk 1-3: 25mg Aromasin ED
Wk 4-6: 40/20/20mg Novaldex ED
Wk 7-9: nothing
Repeat all year

Objective: consistent lean gains throughout the year with minimal sides.

(I'm 32, 210, 5'11, 17%)

Any comments?

I never really felt much or got good gains in the first 3 weeks. My best cycles were anything over 15 weeks. But I hear you on coming off. It was always a drag. If you go through with it, let us know how it went.

No point in running that short of a cycle like MP said, you'll hardly see anything in terms of gains let alone keeping them. Do 8 weeks instead. Also uf bf is kinda high, cut down to 8-10% and than start a lean gain cycle if possible.

It has been almost 2 years since my last cycle, which was test, deca. PCT was clomid 200 day one, then 100 for 1 week then 50 for 2 weeks.
This time I'm going to use nolva instead.

best result i had was with a 20 weeks cycle that i did only once as i usually did 10 to 14 weeks cycles. The longer the cycle the worst it is coming off at least for me.

I agree with the other posters, your cycle seems too short to be of much use. Short esters or not, you won't see any noticeable gains until at least 4 weeks.

I would suggest proper PCT. Clomid and nolva act slightly differently but work better together not by themselves. Also for proper and quicker recovery HCG as well as an AI should be used. With regards to short cycles....muscle takes time to build...you cant rush it...thats why short cycle dont produce great results.

Thanks for the advice Praetorian... I can run both comid and nolva. What I was thinking about short cycles is exactly that - taking time and not rushing it, so by running several short cycles throughout the year I could do the equivalent of one 20 week cycle split up into smaller cycles thus avoiding the effects of long term shut down. Is there any merit to this? Our are the proponents of short cycles just talking out their asses?

I would consider a short cycle 10 weeks...that would still be sufficient to build significant muscle and yet not slow recovery too much.

cycle for 12-14 weeks or don't bother at all IMO. not worth the shut down and hassle...

It all depends on your goals really...shorter cycles work well for specific athletes.

I have been doing some reading on longer cycles but using short esters and orals and switching up compounds every 3 weeks. Test would always be ran as a base but maybe week 1-3 is Test and Drol, week 4-6 is test and tren ace, week 6-9 is test and NPP, week 9-12 would be test and Dbol. Theory is to prevent homeostasis. Any thoughts on this?

Nice theory but it has nothing to do with homeostasis. Guys love to use many different compounds because the more complicated the cycle appears the better it has to work...unfortunately this is not the case and never was. You will find your best gains come from simple cycles and alternating compounds to prevent attenuation. ie 8 weeks of cyp with deca followed by 8 weeks of sustanon with tren.
