It's starting to hit facebook now. I don't think it's a rumor as people close to them are reporting it. Seems they are going to declare bankruptcy.

**edit**
This is confirmed. Not a rumor.

Wow. So not only are they packing it in, they've been losing money?

Seems like it. It's actually Robert Kennedy Publishing going bankrupt and along with it, Musclemag, Oxygen, and Reps will be going.

Ah, internet; killing analogue one industry at a time.

I haven't read a bb mag since mid 2000's and have no intention of ever doing so again. The net has pretty much killed that industry along with many more to follow.

Sad to see them go. Love their magazine.

I always enjoyed Kennedy's rags. Like many others I gave up on magazines in the 90's. Web based articles and reporting is so much more interactive. It's a shame that no one was able to develop a more journal oriented rag with properly researched and thoughtfully delivered material. With the market being 16 year old boys it's always been easier to rehash the same trash year over year. The internet publishers mostly push the same crap but the trolls are entertaining.

I grew up collecting MuscleMag. In the pre-internet era I remember waiting months to hear the results of the pro shows... now it's streamed live.
