If you lived in Toronto,or you presently reside in Toronto, would you vote Rob Ford for mayor in the next election? He says he doesn't smoke crack and that's good enough for me.I would still vote for him.

I think he's an egotistical asshole and a fat **** as well. Just looking at him makes me wanna puke. Those people with the fat eyelids and pink skin make me sick to my stomach. Like a pig with Down Syndrome. But he has done more good than bad for Toronto so he gets the job done. I'd vote for him.

At least he try's to keep the other councillors from spending tax money like it's their own private piggy bank.

Obviously he is overweight....along with a huge number of people in that age bracket.I don't see why people claim it was crack just because the pipe was glass. What are his detractors smoking behind closed doors?:)

Yeah , I think that's why he won the first time around. He spends his money , not his constituents' money. He has remained transparent in that regard and I think that is what makes 90% of all politicians so loathesome. They spend our money like it's theirs.

I would.

It's either him or some liberal asshole who will try to buy his/her support by catering to special interest groups, and people who feel they don't need to work, all with your tax dollars of course.

He is the lesser evil even if the crack smoking is true, but I wont even believe that until I see the video.

Ford is an embarrassment. It has nothing to do with his political affiliation or his obesity.
The guy doesn't know how to behave in public and is supposed to represent Toronto.
His campaign was based in fear/lies.
I ahve never seen someone to commit career suicide so fast.

His campaign was based on bringing some common sense back.Too many career politicians that have no skills they could market, and no fiscal prudence.Surely you don't believe that political opponent that claimed he grabbed her butt?

I believe her 100%. This is the same guy who was inebriated at a Leafs game and yelled and swore in the stands. He was a councillor back then. Give this clown a couple of drinks and he's capable of anything. If I'm not mistaken he lied about that , only to later admit it. Then you have his domestic where the cops came and his DUI in Florida. He's a train wreck, no class at all IM). But he's done more good than bad for Toronto so again , he would get my vote unless the opposition was better.

I would bet a lot of people drink too much and swear at the Leafs.Who hasn't done some drinking and driving in the past?It used to be a sport. His wife's name is Renate,Hosehead.Lets blame the visit on her.:)

it takes quite a bit more to get kicked out of a Leafs game and even more when you are a city councilor as obviously no one wants to shine that spotlight attention

Likely the guy is pretty loud.I have a hard time taking any of these events too seriously when his enemies tried to get rid of him for requesting donations to a kids football team on his office letterhead. For which he stood to gain nothing personally.

1) Because it was a football team that he coached one could argue that he did gain from soliciting donations. He wouldn't have anything to gain if he solicited donations for any other team. Jus because he didn't gain financially doesn't mean he didn't gain personally.
2) Only a complete moron wouldn't realize that using city letterhead is a conflict of interest. He played dumb on that one. He knew it was wrong but ignored it because rules don't apply to him.
3) The pink bulbous eyelids. People who have them are always sociopaths. At first I thought it was because he was too fat lazy to open them all the way. But it's not that at all. He is a sociopath and chooses not to open them all the way because it would reveal his evil Devil eyes. Sociopaths don't want us to know they are evil so they give us the half open , half shut eye.

If that would be the biggest conflict of interest our politicians were ever guilty of we would all be quite lucky.Exactly what kind of personal gain are you imagining?I know the construction inquiry is going on in Quebec, those instances are what I would consider for personal gain and a conflict of interest when the lowest bidder was rejected because he wouldn't fork over some envelope with cash. His eyelids are like that because he is too heavy, and his ancestors come from an area where people do not have as much ability to tan due to less intense sunlight.

Did you learn that in a mail-order psychology course off the back of a matchbbok cover?

By personal gain I mean the satisfaction one gets from seeing something they love prosper. And if his football team is getting new equipment one would conclude they may proper from that and he feels good about it. Like if I took a collection at the office to get me an hour in the champagne room. I benefit from this on a personal level. I'm not talking monetary personal gain. I do agree that this was a minor violation when compared to many of our elected officials but it bothered me to the extent that he played dumb and let it draw out that long. He got caught, just admit it and take your licks.
I looked up his ancestry and his people are from England. While it is not exactly balmy there , most Brits have normal eyelids, even when morbidly obese. According to ancestry.ca , his paternal grandfather was sent to Canada because he was 'unruly'.

No, I surmised my theory from years of observation. I don't trust people with the fat pink eyelids. I also don't trust anybody who refuses to drink a beer on the golf course after I already paid for it. " No thanks beer cart lady , I'll just have a Five Alive instead "
I know what you are gonna say. Yes, I got to drink two beers instead of one, but I was gonna order more the next time she came around anyhow. I just don't know what he's up to. What kind of man orders the Five Alive and refuses a beer that's been paid for ? The kind of man you shouldn't trust.

Let's lynch him, kids will get some new equipment to play football.I sure liked playing football, made my neck real strong.Good clean fun eh?The English vary a lot Hosehead, just like the Italians. My wife's sister is a real redhead and she cannot tan.The English have many influences,Vikings,Saxons,Dutch, and many others...Ford could have been Foord....he has ancestors from the north.Vikings if they were unruly.:)

I like your logic. He was likely a Foord running wild in the fjord. Might explain the eyelids. Handy for shielding wind and particles getting in the eyes.
