Hey bros. I'm struggling to find a supplier for AA. Does anyone know where I can get this in Canada?? I've been looking online and haven't had any luck. Sorry if the question is a stupid one...

Thanks for your help.

yup. What about sterility? No need to filter this?

It's 1 part white vinegar 7 parts distilled H2O, all threw a whatman. That's how I made it anyway and it worked.

1.2 ml of white vinegar
8.8 ml of distilled water

This will give you a final yield of 10ml.

Actually, here's a better description posted by Gustavo back in March:

"The AA needed for IGf-1R3 recon is 100mM. White vinegar is 5% AA or 850mM...you need to get it to 100mM, so you need to mix it with sterile water.

Buy a new bottle of white vinegar and get some sterile water (no preservatives). NOT bacteriostatic water or sodium chloride!. You can get the sterile water from the pharm, it is for one single use, so toss it after you do this...once mixed with the vinegar the vinegar will serve as a preservative. To mix up 10ml of AA suitable for IGF-1 recon, simply, in a sterile vial mix 1.2cc of vinegar and 8.8cc of sterile water, which will bring it to approx 100mM...now you have 10ml of AA, enough for 5-10mg depending on how much you use for recon..i use 4ml, that gives 25mcg/10units on a 1cc slin pin. Many people say you should use a whatman syringe filter (0.20u) to filter your vinegar and water while mixing...definitely a good idea."

Thanks for the information MassNutrition. I'll be adding this to my documents for later reference.
