Found this at tnation,a much easier way to do barbell hip thrusts,as well as a safer way to pad yourself.

Or you could just do them in a Smith Machine. I like mine off the floor though.

lol, I'm not sure if any male can look cool doing these in the gym. For sure you will get looks though :D

They are a little ungainly,but quite effective.For those that haven't tried them,just make sure everything is in the right place before executing.:)

Thanks for the video. I could set this up easily in my garage, just need to buy a good pad. They are very uncomfortable with minimal padding...

Yeah,either a u shaped thick flat pad or a wider,slight larger diameter bar pad would be better.Im in my garage for the summer.

I'm actually going to give this a try. Also great to have a good set of buns :D
