I would like to know if it's possible to consume all 6 of your meals in the form of a shake. With all the carb powders and whey and fats and vegegreen powders, it would be very easy to get the exact macro content needed for every meal. So how 'bout it? Who wants to step up in the name of science? This is something that we MUST explore. On a side note, don't ever reheat your hard boiled eggs in the microwave. I did this today and it literally exploded on my face as I bit into it. My upper lip would put Jay-Z's lips to shame.
Roughage.Had the microwave experience when I was really hungry.

Do you ride Scott? Or just wearing the toque?
I know a couple of folks that do exactly this for a lot of their contest prep. Not for me, but some do just that.

Yea, I had a nice custom Harley about 10 years back but I just got tired of seeing buddies maimed (or worse), thought I better give it up before my luck ran out. So, the people that you knew that ate this way, still looked good and healthy? Not that I think I could live on shakes, but I was just curious.

Cool man, i still ride, as does CC...Love it....
Yes they actually looked excellent. I am not saying i would do this, but it is being done.
I know this is not the best person in industry to compare to, But Autumn, from Autumns paradice is one of those that do.
I used to know her hubby Greg pretty well when we lived in Trail Bc as that is where they were.
She basically took oats in a coffee grinder, made some fine chopped oats, added super greens, and olive or cocnut oils etc to get a balance, and she became sliced and diced from it..
He was her prep coach and she could not eat solid food once she got into it deep, so that is what she did, and it worked real well for her.
There are a few others he prepped that did this as well.. I tried it for awhile when i get sick, or cannot eat as much solid food as i should.

Personally I go for 4 liquid meal and 2 solid, 3 times per day eating meat & veggies is too much for me. But as you know, 2 of those liquid meal include eggs, so it's kinda more 'complete' then just a shake with whey and EVOO.

Eric Do you still make steady gains eating this way,Eric? How many calories/day do you try to get in?

If I lived in a place like that, I would probably still be riding. Unfortunately, in this part of Southern Ontario, the roads are just too busy and filled with "new Canadians". Driving in Brampton all week, I could literally be in an accident every day if I wasn't such a defensive driver. i can usually anticipate stupidity about 10 seconds before it happens.

Yes I'm gaining good for my level of genetic and for a 42 y/o natty. I'm going for 3300cal per day actually.

Yessir, it is some great riding for sure. I lived in T.O, and Windsor for many yrs. I really liked riding the backroads there, or out to Goderich areas...But the 401, wowzers, good times...lol..
I made that trip many a time from windsor to T.O on my Hog, with a semi on my ass in the fast lane doing 140k. There are a lot of whacko drivers that way for sure brother..
You are so polite...New canadians...haha

Scott you will be glad to know that the experiment has already been conducted. Here are the results: http://www.intensemuscle.com/showthread.php?t=45698 Thanks for digging that up, Andre. It looks like that was more of a liquid protein diet and still eating solid carbs. I was talking about a total liquid diet. Not neccessarily a weight loss diet, but if it was possible to gain size by manipulating the macro totals. The people in that study all seemed to be focused on losing weight.

I tried this about ten years ago for a cutting period of about a month. It worked well and i would've continued if it werent for the fact that i was so hungry i wanted to kill people. lol Nothing beats solid food for cutting although for gaining mass i've used 3 meals solid and 3 liquid with success.

I wonder if you would have been this hungry if you were bulking and had higher amounts of fat and carbs in your drinks.
