p,

i am doing 20 mins of cardio post workout to stay lean . this is not high intensity around 130bpm. i do this every other workout session. now usually after i do weights i have my dextrose/whey isolate after i get in the car on drive home, but i have been told the days that i throw cardio in after weights to only have protien cause i will blunt the fat burning process with insulin spike?

question is what if i don't care to get the full effects of cardio but something rather then nothing and would rather perserve muscle mass, i mean is it bad to have carbs right after my cardio session?

i know u can't do both lean and bulk but i'd hate to drop the carbs post workout to proloong the fat burning effects of the cardio i did. i mean if all it means is i am losing out on the after burn affects then i could care less coz i still lost calories while doing the cardio for 20 mins.

You can do the cardio and then have the shake...you will not lose an oz of muscle period!

ok sound sgood. is 50g dex/50g whey a good combo for pwo shake. how soon after should i take it?
