Welcome to the site. there are alot of well informed and knowledgable folks on here. I think some of the info they are going to ask for prior to any advice will be your stats. we have your height and weight, what about age, body fat % (estimate), what you eat in the run of a day and your goal(s). for instance do you want to run a 10k or would you like to be lean, toned, muscular. once you have your goals figured out it will be easier to assist you. if you have never workedout before, I would recommend going to the local gym and taking a tour, most places offer 7 day trial. There are pers on here who offer thier services at a price, and IMO it is worth it. I can't speak for the other folks who offer programs I am sure they are fantastic, but a 20 week (12 body recom - 8 strength Training)program from BodyAthletica cost me around $4.00 a day or 2 timmies. Best of luck.

You can search either on this website or on google for a variety of diets but probably the easiest thing to do is search Dave Palumbo keto diet for men 200lbs. Follow that diet...add in some walking every day..start at 20min and increase the duration by 5-10 min per week. Weight train in the gym 4-5 days per week and thats a start.

I started off in the exact same boat, I did alot of reading on this site and decided to go with what praetorian has suggested. I started out at 224lbs im 5'8, 29 years old etc. Im now 203 in a very short time plus I have not only maintained muscle mass but put a few lbs of lean muscle on. you can check out my journal in the logs and journals section under "my weight loss journey" I pretty much found that the palumbo diet works great and is easy to follow. Im always full. im trying to get to 190lbs.
