I can't remember if George's has ever so boldly predicted a beating.Diaz is always a danger standing. He is also predicting that Chris Weidman will defeat Anderson Silva in July.GSP trains alongside Weidman, but laying a beating on Anderson might not be quite as easy as hammering a fat Munoz as he did in his last fight.

GSP has beaten the best strikers and grapplers in the UFC and has proven that he can take down and strike with anyone. Diaz has won a lot of fights as well but has lost to some weaker opponents(noon, sherk and riggs) his last fight against Condit he was easily beaten, not to take away from Diaz he is a great fighter. I will predict GSP unanimous decision, he will pick Diaz apart standing and take him down when ever he wants.

I wouldn't say Condit beat him easily,Give credit to Carlos for being a very elusive striker.I still worry about George's being a little gunshy.

Compared to most other combat sports being wary in MMA is a good thing, too many avenues of attack if you rush in, kicks, punches and take downs. GSP does slow the fight to his pace allowing him time and space to strike when when safe. Gun-shy? maybe but definitely working so far. It is going to be a good fight both fighters are tough as nails and not afraid of a few cuts or bruises.

Diaz was on the Fan590 in Toronto today, saying he believes GSP uses steroids, (which may or may not be true), but talk about biting the hand that feeds you!! I say once GSP kicks his ass on Saturday, Dana White turfs him.

I dont think Diaz is on the same level as GSP. GSP should have no problem with this one

Agree 100%...GSP doesnt need steroids the guy has extremely amazing genetics...his entire family does! Cant wait to see GSP put a beating on Diaz and then as Scott says Dana will most likely turf him.

It could be that Diaz has heard some reports that Georges is in really great shape....and this is screwing with his mind.Any bully can be bullied....

Diaz is in his own world. He doesn't show for press meetings, show tapings, hates interviews and generally shuns the media. Yet he goes on record bitching about how he doesn't get the recognition from the media. How Adidas, Nike etc. don't want to rep him. When he wins a decision he gloats and when he loses a decision he threatens to quit the sport.

Seems like he's setting up another excuse if he loses to GSP.

I think it shows in Diaz interviews he is defiantly not mentally ready for this fight.

Diaz proved to be a tough nut to crack.Georges does not have the facial structure to endure trading punches.I thought Condit actually beat Hendricks, but makes for GSP's next fight.

GSP dominated the fight. Diaz has amazing cardio but if you can't co trol a fight you won't win

diaz didn't do too much, gsp controlled the fight and made diaz fight at much slower pace than he is used to. diaz does have exceptional cardio but when you are on your back for most of the fight you don't expend too much energy.

GSP always does just enough to win, which is smart. Why take dumb chances if you don't have to? His real test is going to be against Hendricks. This guy is a national collegiate champion wrestler and hits like a truck. It won't be so easy for George to dictate which style to fight. Guaranteed, toughest fight yet.

I remember hearing this exact same thing with a guy you might remember named Josh Koscheck...An NCAA Division 1 wrestling champion with 42 consecutive victories who was going to school GSP in the world of mat control and take downs. Kos also did this at a weight class 14lbs heavier than Hendricks...I obviously don't need to go into the utter schooling of wrestling GSP put on Kos. Now, I am a big fan of Hendricks and think he is a solid dude and if I have to watch GSP drop the belt, this is the guy I'd like to see it happen to unlike a living, breathing peice of shit, take my ball and go home, cry baby, excuse filled mother ****er like Diaz.

lmao ahaha maybe they get should BigGuns in the ring in his foul mood. Seriously though, BigGuns, Koschek had a good ground game but his punching power doesn't come close to Hendricks. I think that may be the game changer. GSP will have to take advantage of the height difference he has or he may in for a rough night, if they ever fight, that is. Talk is that GSP is going to go with Silva and one massive pay day and call it a career. I think if he takes a Hendricks fight and loses, it will kill his big payday with Silva.

GSP and Hendricks will be a great fight, the out come will be hard to predict GSP has a talent for slowing a fight to his speed and picking his times to score points but hendricks is relentless , knock out power to spare and 4 time all american wrestler.

If Hendricks vs Condit was a championship fight Condit would have stopped Hendricks.Condit was robbed.GSP would be too quick for Hendricks

I don't know, when I fight (TKD) it is always a championship fight regardless of who you are fighting, perhaps the pros are different. Maybe they fight / train only to the level of their opponent. GSP is quick but again Hendricks is strong so I think it will be a close fight, speed against strength. one small mistake can end a fight. However I gotta root for the Canuk.

Hendricks was getting the worst of it in the third. He is a good fighter but his waist thickness spells less mobility which you need against Georges or he picks them apart.Did you see how Rory Macdonald, who trains at GSP's gym, pick apart BJ Penn?

Yeah,he claimed his training had improved, but Macdonald is a big(200) mobile fighter.Hendricks hits like a truck if you're in his way but I don't think he could tee off on GSP or Macdonald. He caught Condit with what, one good shot?

When is GSP schedule to fight again?

GSP will fight Johnny Hendricks at UFC167 in November.

GSP has predicted that Chris Weidman will stop Anderson Silva at UFC162 on July 6.Apparently a number of other fighters agree....who knows.Weidman completely dominated Mark Munoz in his last fight.

And you were right,George got moved around, couldn't do damage to Hendricks on the ground and looked like he was beaten with a rake at the end of the fight.Apparently in his last three fights George has taken more hits than ever.next fight Hendricks will be even more confidant Mr.O.Time to leave with his brain intact.

Dana White is a ****ing idiot. I hold Vince McMahon and Don King in higher regard. GSP can do whatever he wants and still retires with as much class as any athlete in any sport.. Without guys like GSP White would be waiting tables at TGIF Fridays. **** him.

Dana can't protect Georges the way King protected Riddick Bowe, and a rematch in Texas would have been a monster draw.Good fights have opened up,the show goes on.Carlos Condit will face Tyrone Woodley on the same card, with the winner likely facing the winner of Hendricks Lawler.
