Hey all, been off training for three years, with a couple failed starts. .

I am having trouble getting over that initial hump where everything hurts, and I'm weak as a kitten.

I am wondering what everyone thinks of doing the Palumbo Diet with Carbs Added in to start, then to diet just drop the carbs??

I'm going to do the 200lb man diet, +40 grams low glycemic carbs added to each meal. Right now I'm 210lbs at around 25% bodyfat.

I am choosing this diet because of the simplicity of it, as well I'd like to get in the routine of the food prep and used to the food so when I do drop carbs I"m in a good routine and used to eating that many eggs.

I have done a strict palumbo diet before and the results were amazing.

I have permanently suppressed hpta as far as I can tell so I'll be running test prop 75mg/day during first 8 weeks, and then dropping to 150mg/wk of test enan/wk for my 'off' times.

I gave my body three years to recover from my ridiculous cycles and it's just not doing so, I can't handle feeling like a low test, fat lazy **** anymore so back at it.

I will add in 500iu hcg x 3/wk as soon as I can afford to.

Going to add in Multi Vit x 2 day, cal/mag x 3/day, b100 with every second meal and if and when the opportunity arises for someone to make me a meal, or to eat out for a nice dinner I'll go ahead with it.

Also May add 5 grams creatine/day as well.

NO sugars.

NO processed foods.

4 Litres of water/day minimum

My low Glycemic Carbs will come from - Oatmeal, Flax Seed, Quinoa, Whole Grain Brown Rice, possibly some berries (Not sure yet), Carrots, Veggies.

Any suggestions for people with experience after long breaks?

Thanks.

If your going to do the Dave Palumbo diet then have no carbs, just start off with low volume sets at the start and as the weeks go add more sets if you like.
