I think I've hit that point in my training where you begin to wonder if I'm wasting my time. I turned 48 last week. I recently read an article about the loss of muscle volume once you start to age and how it's impossible to build new muscle. I've managed to build myself to a fair size and I know how to cut it up and look good when it counts but have I hit the wall? I hope not. I still have great workouts and make strength gains in the important lifts so I would like to think the muscle hasn't stopped growing. I do use 750 mg. Test weekly so maybe this will help me to keep growing. I'm not ready to hang up my hat and go through the motions. Someone tell me that they've made gains at my ripe old age! HELP! HELP! Sorry, I lost my mind for a second. Anyway, any encouraging stories of progress for you older guys will be great to hear.

750 is a cycle or TRT lol? I know, not the Mr. Olympia cycle, but it keeps me feeling good and doesn't break the bank account.

Kinda high for the long term.Sorta.I would think much lower + peps or gh would be a lot safer.

At 48 some additional gh in your system would be beneficial, even if it's small.

I'm 53 and still making gains in both strength and quality muscle mass, but after 35 years of training it does slow down a bit. One thing I do find is that by training with guys that are much younger and full of energy and the lust for making gains it helps in keeping me training hard....'cause there's just no way in hell I'm gonna let some 25 year old out lift me with weight or reps.

I'm better by myself or with the younger guys at our club who are trying to catch up to me. By the way, Skailles and Praetorian, you guys are both freaks of nature, I expect you'll both keep growing until your 80!!
