wondering about body types and how much if at all they actually affect your training style? recently reading that ecto's have higher lvls of cortisol and less test so they respond better to low volume training as to not increase cortisol anymore. oppositely endomorphs have more test and can handle a lot more volume, theres where a few other reasons as well. also wondering if there is a good way to categorize yourself? depending on where I read I can could fit all of these?

I am not an expert by no means.

I think those are good guidelines for the average lifter with no passion in the sport.
I come from a frame of 120lbs soak and wet, when my Doctor told me at the age of 18 that I would never in this world (according to my family tree and so-called genetics) be a bodybuilder.

Well guess what?? I have been in the sport for over 15 years, and I have gone up to 248lbs during a heavy bulking phase.

I generally walk around at 220-230 now a days. I am 5'10"

My dad is 5'9 and he has never been more than 150lbs. I am supposed to be at ecto my entire life, but determination and the want to succeed, has gotten ME to break every single barrier and "genetic" protocol.

I don't know if I help or not. But what I am trying to say is that, you can do whatever you want with your body, and at the end of the day, it is how much you put into it that matters.

What source are you looking at...that makes no sense at all. Also more test does not necessarily mean you can handle more volume. Over training is relative to the CNS. There is no reason to categorize yourself because as soon as you do this you accept limitations...when this happens you are finished before you started.

fusion vip section has some, what I thought...... was a lot more in depth look at what being ecto, meso, or endo ment. they have the little pics and hints to help figure out what you are as well as training tips, nutritional tips and so on below as you click on them. I've never heard some of the things I was reading that's why I post the question wondering if it's a bunch of crap. also i'm curious because it talks about being an under fed endo that looks like he's ecto. lol anyways I was on the quest to figure out what I was and then began to wonder if it even mattered?

Test levels have nothing to do with body type. Whether you are ecto or endo or meso the bottom line is that it doesn't matter. You make a conscious decision of what you want and then you make a plan to achieve that.
Many champions today ie Michael Jordan, Lenda Murray, Dorian Yates...were told by those high in sports that they would never make it...or be anything significant.

Does this pic look like a future 6 time Mr Olympia? If you said no you'd be dead wrong.

as P has pointed out don't buy into the limiting mind-sets of others. As he showed Dorian was nothing special in his youth and neither was Larry Scott or Lou Ferrigno back when they were youngsters, but with hard training, good nutrition and patience anyone can build a very formidable physique. Now does this mean you'll become a Mr. Olympia? No probably not, but it does mean that you'll be far superior to 99% of the rest of the population.

The training style that's best for you one where you lift heavy shit with proper technique on a consistent basis...its not rocket science!
