Anyone tried Agmatine?

Any thoughts on this supplement?

Supposed to be a highly bioavailable form of Arginine that is apparently much more potent at a fraction of the dose (500mg - 1g)

I have tried it and it is indeed legit. It’s my ‘pump supplement’ of choice over any other options (Arginine, Citrulline, GPLC, etc). A 750mg dose is average and worked great for me. I’d recommend it.

Thanks dude. CP.com only has it in powder form which would be really annoying to dose at 1g per serving on the high end. Caps would be ideal I think. Gonna try this soon probably. Its not even that expensive at all.

No prob, bro. Capsules are great but even if forced at a 1gram dose powder, it’s doable. Not to mention, your costs/serving go up if capped. But – too each their own.

I liked it and personally think it should be in any new pump product released and old formulas revamped to include it – it’s the new kid on the block that performs. All other “pump” supps I’ve seen/tried require high gram dosing which is annoying/taste awful/barely performed for me. A small scoop (or a couple caps) of Agmatine is the wave of the future, in my opinion.

Enjoy.

I respond very well to l-citruline at about 5-6g per serving. The bonus factor of l-citruline as that it adds a very tart / sour taste to your shakes so when you add in the MIO it actually tastes really good! Completely covers the nasty taste of BCAA. Caps are more convenient, but yes less cost effective. Might just try the powder dosed at 1g using my food scale.

Thanks for the feedback.

Ordered some from CP.com today. Gonna review it and let you guys know what I think.

My Pre Workout is now as follows:

10g BCAA
5g Beta Alanine
500mg-1g Agmatine

It was only $20 for the 30g bag which is dirt cheap compared to most pre "pump" supps and powders.
