For any of you that remember the former owner of Golds in the 80's,she was a world powerlifting champ,and bb'er.She owns skin possible in the swanky Dunbow rd area of Calgary,which offers various laser and Botox treatments.

I remember her well from those days, she was a power house! When we were there she trained at BJ's and we at Golds. She must have picked up Golds when it went belly up in 84/85? I didn't know she made it to the worlds, not surprised though. Great to see she's doing well for herself.

I know she owned it around 86 when I returned from Toronto.She looks different eh?If she lives not far she lives in a nice shack.I know the guy that developed many of the estates around there,he made a lot of money coming from nothing 30 years ago.

I had to check again and if her name wasn't under her picture i wouldn't have known that was her. She's looks a lot more "feminine" now.

The one year my wife decided to compete in the power lift meet in Edmonton was the one year Roberta didn't compete, so my wife took first place, lol. Even my wife knew there was no way she could beat her.

She was really hard and muscular for awhile,her voice got a little funny.She backed off but was still in damn good shape,along with her blond buddy.
