Anyone can chime in on this one....

If you could custom design a pre-workout supplement formula, based solely on effectiveness (not cost), what 5 ingredients (and at what dose) would you would include?

Would this be within the bounds of something a doctor could offer advice on?

5g creatine
5g Beta-alanine
1g Carnitine
2g Citruline malate
200mg caffeine

But I would still buy them raw and make my own mix.

I've tried all kinds of pre-workout formula's over the years and I can say honestly that they were a waste of money IMO, so to be honest for me the best pre-workout will always be some whey protein in water about 1/2 hour before I train.

l-citruline 5g
BCAA - 10g
beta alanine 5g
l-carnitine 1.5g
100-200mg caffeine (depending how i feel)
couple quirts of mio so it doesnt taste like $hit

this is by far the most potent and cost effective stack i have ever built. costs hardly anything per serving compared to the pre made pixie dust you get in store. low carb dieting requires a pre workout in my opinion and this stack will change your workout. try it!
