is there certain times where one should not be having protein/carbs with fats?
i have fats usually with only a protein source but i have fats with my breakfast shake which also has carbs, ( i have heard many say one might as well have a donut if they going to have fats with their carb meals)
2 scoops whey isolate
1 cup oats
cininmon powder
1tbsp mac nut oil
I was also under the impression that these should not be mixed unless it was coupled with a high fibre source. I think it is wise not to spike insulin and blood sugar while consuming a fat. Logic says this will lead to adipose storage.
Again, consistency is key here though. Doing this every odd time I doubt will make much of a difference in the long run but one probably does not want to make a habit of it.

Fatamd protein lower glycemic load of a meal therefore you're fine to be eating what you are.now if it was pure sugar then I'd say it's a problem.

thats what i was thinking too. because if not then how do people eat salmon with rice, that contains all three protein/fats/carbs?
so i guess the only time to not eat fats with carbs is if protein is missing which wouldn't happen in the first place.
i also was told not to eat fats two hours post workout?

Combining macros is fine...fats will lower the insulin response from carbs anyway. You are fine eating fats after training...a PWO shake containing protein and carbs would be one time i would not include fats...mostly for the insulin response.

You will be fine, the shit the people talk in the gym about nutrition makes me laugh.
