"You don't think of yourself as not healthy."

Bull shiet.

Not yet. I'm still waiting for the dates from Gregg Valentino, if they do show it in Canada.

Anybody get the feeling that the creator just wanted his 15 minutes of fame so he picked the only socially charged and taboo subject he could relate too?? I guess the McDonald's thing had already been done...just my $0.02

Jay doesnt admit to using steroids there. He says it is involved in the sport...take that as you may.

This film was shown at the Sundance Film Festival and apparently did pretty good. I seen bits and pieces of it, not something to sit around and wait for if you ask me.

Two things I would like to add:

1: Regarding the size of pro bodybuilders today: The best way to bring the guys back to a more "normal" size is judging. Stop rewarding muscle but aesthetics and proportion more. Guys like Frank Zane or Franco may not have been the biggest but they had a better look than today.

2: As Will Harris and 25" arms I call BS. Poliquin did a good article on how over hyped Arnold's alleged 22" arms were so Harris would have to be around 325lbs or so. I dont know his height but I call BS.

Looks like a movie worth seeing.

However, I'm sick of hearing and seeing the media and law enforcement fascination with the social evils of steroids. Whatever happened to personal freedoms? I think its mostly jealousy and fear that drive the anti steroid movement. If a sport wants to declare itself a drug free haven for athletes, more power to them. But its got nothing to do with what ought to be the law.

Seen some more clips. Excellent. I think businessmen like Weider have exploited a lot of people over the years with their half truths and veneer of sincerity. Lay those cards on the table.

Its simple economics. Phamacutical companies cannot make money on black market drugs, pharmacuticals companies are run by powerful folks who need politicians in their pocket for a variety of reasons. So when something threatens your balance sheet and you have the clought to influence politicians, media, the public and organizations, like the IOC then that is what you do.
It is and always will be about the almighty dollar and power to aquire it.

Great post man, you are 100% correct. Look as proof the "weed stores" run on the west coast. They pay taxes to the govt so they get a license to sell weed. Nice how weed dealers and sellers go to jail on bogus charges of selling drugs illegally just because they didn't report their earnings. F'ing corrupt!
