For over 60 years, the National Amateur Body-Builders Association has existed, and this organization is the longest running Body-Building organization in the World today. NABBA since 1950, has held the original Mr Universe title for 62 years now!! NABBA also has formed an International organization and many member Countries have developed NABBA affiliated bodies in their member Countries. NABBA also has formed an alliance with the German based World Fitness Federation (WFF). And NABBA, along with the WFF, holds extensive International Amateur and Professional Contests.

In the USA NABBA formed an American affiliate in 1992. Americans compete and Canadians also have been encouraged and welcome to participate.

For all these decades----for multiple generations, NABBA never formed a Canadian based affiliate. This omission over such a vast period of time, and era's, is hard to understand. NABBA is a Body-Building organization that clearly would of benefited the Canadian competitor.

Well, now, NABBA will stage a Contest in Canada ---next year---North America Body-Building Figure Bikini Championships in September 2013. A historic long long awaited occurrence, and a celebration planned for Canadian and American competitors alike!!

It's about bloody time!! IMO NABBA is right up there with the IFBB and for the longest time guys like Arnold, Zane, Draper etc. competed as well in this organization as well as other legends like Pearl, Reeves and Park. I look forward to hearing more about NABBA Canada in the future.

Hell I remember seeing figure gals in NABBA that would put to shame the conditioning of many FBBs even at the national level.....

All our competitor's in all categories have the opportunity and personal options to compete in the US through NABBA USA's Annual calendar of events. And very substantially also compete in the NABBA World Championships the NABBA Universe, both Amateur and Professional ranks. And still further, competitors will have the opportunity to participate in the World Fitness Federation WFF International Contests annually as well.

The available pathway open for competitve goals and personal aspiration, is extensive and very real for advancement with many options fully open to the hard training Body-Builder, Figure and Bikini aspirant.

it will be interesting to see what happens with IFBB/NPC cutting out more and more Female Bodybuilding
to the extent theres only 4 womens pro shows in 2013
and them eliminating it from some of the National level pro qualifying shows
if NABBA continues to hold womens bbing classes
this could be an option for those women who don't want to switch to physique class

so seems to me like its all drug tested... i got message out via offical site
