I hope that this goes in this section?!?!
Anywasy so I'm a tanner..love my tanning beds... how ever since starting this stricter keto diet I have noticed that I seem to get a little dizzy/light headed while standing there!!
Anyone know why... I googled it but can't find anything :(
I was thinking it had to do with water levels and dehydration....I'm not sure I can drink more than 12-15 glasses a day...lol
Dieting too hard?Didn't know they had a gym in Camrose.

The 1st 2 weeks when you do keto, you can feel weird sometime, you body is doing some adjustment, it's normal, if you stick to keto and don't get carbs here and there, like in adding 'innocent' condiments or fruits/vegetables that contain carbs, soon you'll have plenty of energy, clearness in your head, no more late afternoon tiredness, etc...

And keep your water intake high as well....with the type of training you like to do you're sweating your ass off and couple that with standing in a tanning machine and you're becoming dehydrated. So learn to drink more water.

Sodium and water should be increased while on keto...you retain less water because of low glycogen levels thus water goes thru you much faster which can also leach electrolytes.

ok so should my nuts be salted or raw?I'm eating raw currently. Can I have sugar free condiments?(Mustard, soya sc.,etc) I'm ok using nothing, but just curious for the occasional "need a change" day...lol
meal 4 has a green salad..how big/much should I be eating?
I've been eating about 1 cup baby spinach, gr.pepper chopped up about 1 tbsp and red onion chopped and 1 tbsp, and cucumber slices about 4-5.

Sodium is the key here, try taking a 1/4 teaspon of salt with water twice per day and you will be surprised by how much better you feel.

Raw are best but if you can find raw salted even better...or just add sea salt to meals. Sugar free condiments are fine...mustard, Franks Red Hot, Sugar Free Soya....salad can be a fairly large bowl...watch the peppers they are generally higher in carbs. Cucumber, onion, spinach, romaine, celery, asparagus, broccoli all good.
