I have to say when I found this out, I was in shock. Why would Lucas want to ruin one of the greatest movie Sega of all time. How much more can Disney add to the films, we seen everything that can happen.

Interesting. They already plan to do a 7th movies, I dunno if they'll scrap the concept, like Jar-Jar Bings almost did in the second trilogy. At least the fans will get the long awaited sequel to the first 3 movies. In a way I prefer the 'risk' then see the series die and have no sequel.

true, but one thing is not to change Luke. That would be a bad idea, to change a young luke, maybe they should make him older!!
I cannot fathom this being worth 4 billion
it made Disney land that much better. My boys use to be right into Star Wars so when we went they got to be jedi's and have a lightsaver battle with Darth Vader. Very cool !
Lol reminds me of this

It's interesting and I think it may help to improve the whole Star Wars genre if you will. I think that Disney has improved the Marvel movies....I mean lets be honest Disney has more money and is the largest film company now with its many acquisitions of other successful brands, so why not let Disney take over the Lucasfilm brand?

I remember in 1977 I went to see the first movie to the theater twice, one was with school, it was really special, it was really standing out compared to all the sci-fi movie, it really re-defined this category of movies. One I liked very much also was (in 1978) was Galactica.
