Just stumbled upon this site! I am also a member at BB.com with the same username.

I just relocated to Victoria and have gained a lot of interest in the bodybuilding world after watching a documentary called 'I want to be that guy' which was really inspiring. I was once 270LBs in 2009, I cut down to 178LBs at my lowest (Around 16% BF) and now doing a slow bulk to gain a little mass in some very lacking areas for the next 4-6 months before another cut.

If there is anybody in the Victoria area with competition bodybuilding backgrounds, I am really serious about getting in to it, I am no stranger to lifting weights but actually want to compete as an amateur and then who knows, maybe turn professional!

Reply in here or hit me with a PM

Cheers!

Cheers!Wow....Ok first off welcome to a much better board than BB.com...you'll learn lots here. Now as for the competing sure give it a go and see if you even like all the work it takes to get into contest shape for a BBing contest. As far as turning pro goes...well that will probably take you the better part of 20 years to accomplish as it's not something that happens overnight...well at least not in the CBBF/IFBB. Hell there are guys and gals who have been competing in BBing longer than you've been alive and never came close to winning a nationals and turning pro....I don't want to burst your bubble but this is not something that happens easily....well unless your Phil Heath or some other freak of nature.....

Thanks, guys...Ya, I guess throwing the word pro around is basically the same as me saying as a kid "I want to play in the NHL" LOL!
Some great info on this site already!
